My First Claim Experience
I made my first claim this month. Spot’s website was user friendly. I received an acknowledgement email and specific additional information needed. I received another acknowledgment email. A final email the next day stated that the claim was accepted and asked if I preferred a check in the mail or directly into a bank account. Couldn’t be better.

Singing the praises for Spot Insurance
I want to sing the praises for Spot Pet insurance. My dog tore his ACL while playing ball and when I consulted my vet, I was told that he would need an operation to correct the issue. Fasr forward, I submitted my surgery invoice to Spot and they reimbursed me 90% of the cost. They were a life saver and a great support. Spot does it right!

When my fur baby swallowed some he shouldn't have, he had to be rushed to vet and had emergency surgery. Spot came through with my claim quickly. I don't know what I would've done without them.

For the amount we're paying, seems silly to keep insurance with how much isn't covered. Preventative care is the one thing that should always be covered since if we continue to do so, the insurance companies would be paying less long term. Instead only a fraction is covered. And that's only if you're paying for the Gold or higher

Once they started processing my pets claims they were really fast The only thing I don't like is that I'm unable to change certain policy parameters like increasing the amount covered or up to 90% so less of a deductible because my pets are too old

They only thing that needs improvement is I had to resubmit my dogs records every time I made another claim for a different bill from the same occurrence. Should only have to submit that once. My dog was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor so we have had a lot of specialist visits, a trip to urgent care, and surgery. I have never really had to use his insurance before because he has always been pretty healthy so I was a bit nervous with all of the upcoming appointments and costs. I work in veterinary medicine and see how some of the pet insurance companies let clients down but Spot was always one that I heard great things about. The process to submit the insurance claims after each of these visits was so easy. The claims were processed very quickly and after I met the deductible I was reimbursed within just a few days. Spot Pet Insurance definitely put my mind at ease over these last few months and I’m glad I went with it.

I had to take my little dog Rascal to doggie ER kidney stones and pancreatitis he could not urinate he was in a lot of pain he still wasn’t urinating the next day so had to take him to his vet $1,600.00 later and some medication he was on the mend. I turned in my receipts Spot direct deposited into my account a week later. Thank God I had this insurance plan very very satisfied!
