Quick and so helpful! I’ve used spot for the past three years and thankfully have never had to file a claim. But when my dog came down with massive kidney stones and a bladder infection, I was so grateful that I had kept my account active for moments like this. I am glad I chose Spot Pet Insurance. Upon enrolling, it took a bit to get all the health and prior veterinarian information Spot Pet Insurance wanted, but once that was completed to their satisfaction, it was easy to submit claims. The cost per month for my dog is, so far, affordable. I chose to be reimbursed by check so it takes a bit longer but I don't mind. One can always opt for direct deposit, if preferred. Their web site is very easy to navigate.

Our little dog Wally made it to the ripe old age of 12 years old without ever having any veterinary problems until this summer. He had an acute onset of glaucoma which we later found out was caused by a tumor in the iris. Having his eye removed was a very emotional experience and the vet bills totaled a little over $6,000. SPOT was amazing, their customer service excellent, and after our $1,000 deductible was paid, they reimbursed us 90% (the payout was also very fast). I am so thankful that I found SPOT insurance & highly recommend this company. Thank you to all those at SPOT for helping to ease the financial stress of our pet's surgery & care.

If you're on the fence for pet insurance get Spot. The site makes it so easy to send a claim in. They also process the claim quickly and send it to your checking in a few days. I got the Wellness package too. If you have a puppy it is a good idea since they will need many visits, shots, neutering, micro chip, etc. My dog came from the breeder with Giardia. I had to buy special gastrointestinal food, two rounds of medication and the problem still exists, so we are not done resolving the problem... I'm so glad we have Spot!

We used Spot to insure our sweet, adventurous indoor/outdoor rescue cat that we found as a stray. We had a few claims from vet visits, both routine and more urgent, and had no issues at any point with being reimbursed. The process was easy and the reimbursement was in our bank account within a few days, each time. Our boy unfortunately passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at only 3 years old. After I created a claim for end of life services, Spot reached out letting me know they cancelled our policy for us and that we could still submit any necessary claims. Then a few days later, we got a call from a caring agent with Spot, asking us how we were doing after his death. Honestly, I never expected such great service from an insurance company! We will absolutely use Spot again for our future pets.

Stewart had Spot Pet Insurance for 2 years and we didn't need it much, until we did. This past month has been one of the hardest for my family as we had to say goodbye to Stewart after 13 years of love and companionship. Spot made the process as painless as possible and even after submitting the final paperwork for when we said goodbye to Stewart, they even canceled the policy for us and sent a note to my email about how sorry to hear about Stewart they were. We have been very pleased with spot insurance. We had only had our cats insured for about One month. When out of nowhere one of our precious babies was diagnosed with an eye tumor. Spot was very good in being there for us during this difficult time. They reviewed our cat vet records to verify no preexisting condition and immediately paid our bills when they verified all was a new condition. I just want to say to all pet owners. Take it seriously about insuring you’re fur babies. Our babies had always been to Veterinary for all wellness checkups etc. Had always been very healthy.But, this eye tumor came out of the blue with no signs ahead of time. Spot made this scary time so much easier to handle for us.We knew we could get the needed vet care for our fur baby and spot would have our back financially. If you talk to them on the phone they always ask how our babies are doing. So, if you can it is best for you & your babies to have them insured. I know if your like my Husband and myself our fur babies are a part of our family. Our baby had to have his eye removed but he is doing well.
