I’ve had spot coverage for my cat since 2022 when he was around 2 years old. He had no preexisting conditions fortunately. Recently we had to make two trips to the ER one for a concern for a urinary blockage, another a week later for an actual urinary blockage. Spot has been good so far with my plan and coverage. For a $4,200 combined vet bill I got 90% back, minus my deductible of $250. It took them about 5 business days to file my claim and send reimbursement via direct deposit. So far I would recommend Spot for coverage if you are looking for Emergency/Illness coverage for your pet.

Fast, easy and paid in a week! This was my first claim submitted in the almost 5 years with Spot. I carry a high deductible (1000) and 80% co-insurance, so when my fur baby needed ortho surgery I knew this was going to be submitted. The invoices dated back almost a year as my Vet tried numerous things before deciding that surgery was the only option. No questions from Spot about that. I had a few that were beyond the 270 days, that was my fault, but I think if it relates to the exact same claim that 270 date thing should be adjusted. That is my only gripe, but it is in the contract. Overall very pleased with the easy process and payment direct to my back account. After time, this ortho surgery will not count as preexisting - big bonus there!!

We recently signed up for Spot pet insurance (accident and illness coverage only), and both of our young labs happened to have an injury and an illness around the same time. I sent in the claims - there were a few with medication, examination, and a surgery - and within 1-2 days they were working on the claims. We had the money in our account within one week. Their promptness and communication was timely and efficient. We recommended Spot insurance to family and friends.

The Emergency Vet after diagnosing her problem suggested we visit our Primary Care Vet for a more thorough follow-up. We submitted both bills to Spot Pet Insurance which we received the appropriate amount of reimbursement within a short period of time. So far, Spot Pet Insurance has lived up to what was promised when we first signed up. I took my dog for a vet check-up and was told he was going to need teeth surgery. Upon the surgery he lost eight teeth, and this visit was costly. I filed a claim 2 days after, and the process was easy. After sending all necessary documents (soap report) in a few days I receive a direct deposit in my bank. It was fast, easy and I'm very happy with this company.
