I learned from my last pet the importance of having pet insurance. I didn't think I would need to use it with my recent dog but she fell ill unexpectedly. The diagnostics test and trips to the ER vet and vet have all been covered with ease after meeting my deductible. The process is easy and reimbursement is fast. Earlier, I gave a 3 star review because I mistakenly thought my claims had not been completed. Found another email from Spot informing me that they had been completed and that the reimbursement amounts would be directly deposited into my bank account. The delay in processing, as I stated in my previous review, was my fault for not including all the paperwork needed. Kudos to Spot Insurance for great customer service and quick turnaround time!

It’s a little difficult to rate at this point because i have submitted my first claim and have yet to receive reimbursement or notification of resolution. I did have to submit additional paperwork to support my claim, which I’m sure caused a delay. All of the representatives that I have spoken with on the phone have been helpful so I expect that all will go well. I will update my review once my claims are settled.

The app didn’t work well. It did not allow me to upload all of my documents, despite repeated attempts. I was only able to upload two documents, and my claim was delayed while I exchanged repeated emails with the company explaining that its app would not allow me to upload any additional documents.

The vet’s bill for my new puppy’s vaccinations and visit came to $108 and Spot reimbursed my bank account with $100 within a day or two of submitting my first claim. The communication via email was quick and thorough and maneuvering my online account was easy. So far everything is as advertised and I am happy with my purchase. It is good to have peace of mind in case any health problems pop up in the future.

Spot insurance has been amazing from the ground up. The iOS application is user-friendly and very intuitive. Claims are processed, typically no later than 3 to 5 business days and everything can be uploaded virtually, including an estimate for preapproval so there is no surprises. Reimbursement is quick and easy either to myself or the vet directly. Customer service hours for Phone are a little wonky, but the representatives are amazing once on the phone making it still an overall five star experience. Plan exclusions are pretty limited, providing an overall comprehensive coverage, which was a huge factor for us.

Spot pet insurance for puppies paid about 50% of our first vet. visit for health wellness checkup. I'm in for 80% reimbursement, the extras went above the Spot limits on payments, so I need to check the limits and stay within them. Payment was in about a week after our visit to Vet. I do have a SERIOUS REQUEST FOR SPOT, though. Please find a way to allow us to send claims without needing a pdf-jpg change. I don't have computer, and converting on my Mobile is expensive, requires subscr. to computer for phones. Could you make a text message claim form link that can then be sent to you by phone text or email? A HUGE HELP if you could! Thank you. ( I'd give you five stars except for this problem! ) So far, so good...

I am so thankful I chose Spot Pet Insurance! My cat swallowed a bunch of hair ties and needed emergency surgery to save her life. Surgery happened Thursday, claim was filed Saturday, and I received my reimbursement the following Wednesday.
