I’ve had Embrace for almost 8 years and I can’t begin to find the words to describe how much I appreciate them! There have been some issues with my GSP (Cooper) over the years with allergies, a couple surgeries and some fairly expensive Vet visits. In all of the years and claims (and there have been many), Embrace has always been there for Cooper and I! They’ve always gone “above and beyond”! The turn around on the pay time frame is exceptional. I put two claims in on 3/6/2026 and received emails on 3/7/2026 stating they were approved. With all of my animals, I’ve never had pet insurance, but since I was retired when I got Cooper, it seemed like a good idea to have some coverage on him. Little did I know or even begin to imagine how fortunate I have been with Embrace. It’s my mission to tell everyone that will listen about Embrace Pet Insurance and have received many thanks from my “pet owner” friends for recommending Embrace!

Called Embrace for help understanding my cat's benefits—two wonderful reps patiently explained everything. Made my decision so much easier. Never had a problem with them. Great company!
Embrace Pat insurance is very helpful. Easy, especially with their app to Download claims and they get back to you very quickly with your reimbursement, either by mail or direct deposit. I have had embrace pet insurance since my dog has been a puppy. She is 6 years old now. And it has really helped us to have this for her & ourselves.
We have been with Embrace since 2011 when we adopted our first Lab mix. From the start, Embrace has been quick to cover every expense without any questions. Our first dog, died from a brain tumor and our current Lab mix from Houston, has had multiple health issues that have amounted to thousands of dollars! His primary vet calls him the million dollar dog! It has been reassuring to know that Embrace has supported our dogs' health every step of the way!
The client service was informative...I am still not sure if the price is worth it as we have a high deductible of $500 and may not make that this year and the rate may not offset the financial expense enough to warrant keeping this insurance. Granted if our dog(s) have a serious condition this would be a benefit. It was easy to submit claims once the customer rep explained to use the app. I am older so sometimes I don't like all the technology but their app is easy to use. The response on the claims was quick.
I submitted a claim for my dog and was impressed at how quickly they reviewed and completed the claim. They also make sure to get the money that you are to get reimbursed submitted to your account within 24-48 hours. You couldn't ask for better service. I have been with Embrace for several years and I must say they are improving all the time. Also when you call and talk to a representative everyone is so friendly and helpful!

Embrace Pet Insurance responded to a claim submitted in less than 24 hours. Jacob who answered the phone explained and answered my questions so patiently since my accent is so thick. He was so polite.

My contact with the associates I spoke with was pleasant and professional. I received more information that I was requesting. The wait time was a bit long, but once I made contact, the conversations were informative and professional.
FINAL UPDATE: After additional communication and a secondary review, my claims were reassessed and ultimately approved, including the largest emergency claim. I appreciate that the company took the time to re-review the file and adjust the determinations. However, the claims were initially denied in full, and it required significant follow-up, requests for clarification, and escalation before the situation was reviewed again. During an emergency situation, policyholders are often forced to make fast and expensive medical decisions for their pets. If I had accepted the initial determination at face value, it could have significantly affected the choices I felt able to make regarding my pet’s care. That aspect of the experience was particularly stressful and concerning. The final outcome was positive, but the process itself was confusing and time-consuming during an already difficult situation. Clearer communication and transparency around how medical history notes are interpreted would make the process much smoother for policyholders in the future. I am updating this review and rating to reflect the final resolution. UPDATE: My Trustpilot profile uses a nickname, which likely explains why Embrace stated they were unable to locate my account. The company does have my policy and claim information, and my claims are now currently being re-reviewed after I requested additional clarification. I am updating this review for transparency. I have asked for the specific medical record citations and policy language used to deny my claims and am still waiting for those details in writing. I also reviewed the onboarding emails I received, including my policy activation email, and did not see explicit instructions directing me to request a separate medical history pre-review. I will update again once the re-review process is complete. Thank you. I bought this insurance because of how it presents itself — “pet insurance for any situation,” fast claims processing, and financial protection when emergencies happen. When my pet had a real emergency, that was not my experience. After paying premiums for over a year, my pet required emergency ER care and life-saving treatment. The bill exceeded $8,000. I approved care believing my policy (70% reimbursement after deductible) would help carry at least some of the cost, which is exactly why I had insurance in the first place - to protect my pet. All three emergency claims were denied. Their explanation relied on broad interpretations of historical vet notes as “pre-existing,” even though there had been no prior diagnosis or indication from my veterinarian that my pet had any underlying condition that could lead to this emergency. The same medical history that allowed enrollment was later used to deny coverage when an emergency actually occurred. Adding to the frustration, my claims sat without resolution for over a month. After I began repeatedly following up, all three were reviewed and denied at once. The financial result has been severe. The reality is that being left with this level of unexpected cost directly affects what ongoing care decisions I can reasonably make for my pet. I paid for this policy in good faith so that if an emergency ever happened, my pet would be protected. When that emergency happened, the coverage I expected wasn’t there. In my experience, this company failed when it mattered most.
Easy to file a claim . Just follow the instruction and you can get the money back.

I am still waiting on my reimbursement for a claim I placed 2 weeks ago. I called and was told it could take up to 14 "business" days to receive my reimbursement. My smaller claims in the past I received in 2-3 days, but because this is over $100 my guess is they are looking for a reason to deny it. Either way, 14 business days to receive your reimbursement is an exceptionally long time, in my opinion to wait, especially if you are on a budget.

We had a very nice experience with Embrace. After we misplaced reimbursement checks, their support team quickly checked the status, confirmed they were not deposited, and issued replacements without any hassle. Everything was handled smoothly. 😄
It was very easy to sign but not to file a claim. I purchased the Wellness package so I waited to have a few receipts before I filed. I had to file each one separately even though they were from the SAME vendor. They say supplement or vitamins are covered but I think Wrap a Pill should be covered because he wouldn't take any pill without it. They disagreed. I will say they told me 10-15 business days & clms were processed or denied the next day. We will see how long it takes to get the checks. That is wasteful to cut me individual checks. I feel the entire process is NOT user-friendly. I wanted to give 3.5 stars but that wouldn't work.

I liked the agent. She was sympathetic and helped me select a reduction in coverage to reduce the monthly rate which skyrocketed by $50.00 a month I had this insurance for almost ten years and it has increased almost yearly. This year, on my dog reaching 10 years of age it escalated from 89.00 a month to 160.00 a month. I had to cut the coverage in half to go down to 109.00 a month. I HAVE NEVER FILED A CLAIM! My dog is very healthy and is on no medication. She visits the vet every year and is fine. This is outrageous, but at this point I’m over a barrel to pay their fees because my dog is 10 and I’m afraid if she needs surgery or some treatment thst I won’t have the money to pay for it. I’m 79 and on a very limited income.
Great customer service and coverage. We have two pets on our policy. Recently, both have had medical problems - one has been minor, the other was major (requiring hospitalization). The claims process has been easy - and when trying to determine the best for the hospitalized pet, we made a call from the waiting room and had a pre-approval within minutes. This has been easier than my health insurance.
So far so good, only had them for a couple of months. First claim was smooth and complete in the time frame they said. It was approved with no fuss.
We have had an Embrace Policy for four years. We have not had any claims that were covered according to their criteria. Our pet is healthy. Nevertheless, our premiums have had double digit increases year after year. The quoted 2026 premium is 250% above what we paid four years ago. We are going to research other options.
The representative (Roger) did a wonderful job explaining the working of embrace insurance and how it would work for my two dogs. He was very friendly, helpful and professional.

Had this insurance for the past year. Dog was never really sick so obviously had no issues.their insurance is great as long as you don’t really need it or file any claims. However with some recent health problems I decided to try and make some changes to our policy. Was told if I did this it’s considered a “restart” and any health issues that occurred after the start of my first policy would now be considered pre-existing condition and wouldn’t be covered. Only option was to cancel. Anyways was able to build and customize my new policy over at Figo with no issues.
Initiating a new pet insurance policy was easy and quick and I found a premium that was half that of Pumpkin.
I bought the insurance to cover the emergency situation where you get a bill that could be thousands of dollars. I didn’t want to be faced with making that decision on the spot. Our new dog had a laceration needed emergency surgery. The process was easy to file a claim ;you do it on your phone. There was a mistake in the processing, but they corrected it quickly. Once corrected I sent follow up bills every four days for dressing changes and they processed them within 24 hours. My expectations were met and I’m glad I bought it to be perfectly honest. Pet insurance is not necessarily financially a win. The problem is you have a pet that develops a totally unexpected problem that could run anywhere from 1 to $8000. You have to decide on the spot. You don’t want to be in the situation of saying I suddenly having to come up with lots of money or taking your pet home for comfort care. The purpose of the insurance is for the unexpected catastrophic problem. If you’re buying it for routine care, I would not recommend it.

I had a difficult start with embrace and a very stressful back and forth for months but Marisol and Shelby were very helpful although I was very frustrated at the point of me speaking to them. Make sure to have them run all of your medical paperwork that you submit at the beginning of your policy or else they will not do it and you may run into issues when you finally need to submit a claim months down the line 🙏! Even without knowing this know Marisol or Shelby will handle your case very well and with care

I’ve been with them since I adopted my dog I believe now 3yrs ago. For the most part he’s been healthy except for a couple times when he got into a coffee pod which required an emergency vet visit which was quite expensive I met the deductible and they paid quickly. Their customer people have always been very friendly and helpful. I did have to lower my reimbursement rate due to the higher rate increase. I do like the wellness policy as it covers all his vaccinations and even his dental chews. I know what to expect from Embrace and will keep them.
We have had both our boys covered by Embrace for several years now. Their agents are quick to respond, and I appreciate being able to speak to a real human being every time I call. Claims are usually processed within a day or two, and my refund appears in my bank account just as quickly. I had a glitch with a claim a week ago, but they think it was a technical issue which they are working to correct. Meanwhile, my claim has been processed. I can confidently recommend Embrace to pet owners.

Being a mommy of 2 pups, I have some issues to address to the insurance periodically and always receive needed support and help. The customer support is patient and knowledgeable with all requests and replies in timely manner. Receiving a help from 3 representatives so far, I'd say that this one of the best customer support experience in the last 5 years. Unfortunately, I was unable to increase annual insurance coverage for one of the doggies without complete resetting it, but this is most probably a common policy for all insurances.
The lady I talked to on the phone was incredibly charismatic and helpful with all of my questions. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Emails from Embrace are non- specific about what is needed to completely finish processing the claim. A phone call is needed by the policyholder to determine what is needed. Often after 2-3 submissions, the claim is still not processed. I am now calling again for the 3rd time about a claim for over $1,000 from January9, 2026.. The needed data was sent by both my vet and myself..
Most of the customer service representative were helpful and nice. However my bill increased by $45.00/month. My plan is expensive and does not even include wellness visits. When I first became a customer, they labeled my 6 pound Yorkie vicious, and my other Yorkie with anxiety because he needed medicine once for a car drive to Florida for motion sickness because he vomits un the car. They just label your dog so the company does not to cover any potential/future issues. My vet records never used words or implied that my dog was anxious or vicious. I’m in the process of shopping around now for new insurance.
I had some questions about my claims so I called the Claims department. The rep named Veronica was awesome. Very knowledgeable and fast when answering all my questions. The experience was extremely positive. I would recommend the company to anyone if my first interaction is the standard. Very grateful. And my claims were process efficiently and fast. Thank you.

December 29, 2025 our dog was not feeling well. Took her to the Vet to find out she has diabetes. This required a 3 night hospital stay, insulin shots, a change to prescription dog food and weekly monitoring for first 3 weeks. Thanks to Embrace we knew we would see a reimbursement for 80% of the cost based on the policy we signed up for. Embrace has always paid with no issues. We are thankful to have Embrace for our pet.
Been using them for 4 years and never any issues. Every once in a while a bump in the road but over great customer service

I’ve had Embrace pet insurance for a few years now and the reimbursement time was really good after all information was gathered. I had to downgrade to a lesser level due to my financial circumstances. The customer service agent was very helpful in helping me choose plus he explained the alternate process so my kitties wouldn’t have to go uninsured. I really appreciate that.
