Customer service is great. So nice not to have to do everything via email or chat. The phone reps pick right up. So easy to submit a claim and get reimbursed. All claims have been paid as outlined in the policy with no issues. I normally get deposit 48-72 hours after I submit my claim. So far they have paid almost $9k this year due to my dog being diagnosed with Lymphoma.
This insurance company is easy to submit claims and the reimbursement was on my account within 3 days. So far I am very satisfied with embrace

Having Embrace Pet Insurance is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Our fur baby means more to us than words can say. We learned the hard way in tough situations with our previous fur babies and didn’t want to be unprepared again. We recently had a scare and had to admit our fur baby to the hospital. Thankfully he pulled through and made a full recovery. The bill for the treatment was well worth the outcome, but needless to say it would have not been possible for most owners to do as the cost was high. It would have substantially put us behind financially, but Embrace saved the day for us. Having the support from Embrace gave us security and allowed us to decide to save this precious dogs life. Without Embrace Pet Insurance we would have lost all we owned to save his life. Can’t express the gratitude we feel. I highly recommend all pet owners get Embrace Pet Insurance. I know I will use them for every pet we have for the rest of my life. You never want to have to use it, but if you do, you’ll want it to be with Embrace.
To submit a claim the process was super easy and quick. Not complicated at all which is a big plus. The photo option and drop downs on the reasons for the claim were helpful.

When Embrace says submitting claims is easy, they aren't kidding. When I chose my dogs insurance, I was up in the air as to which one would be best. I've always had pets, but never had pet insurance. I'm very happy with my choice. My claim went through and was paid extremely quick.

My issue is the fact that the diagnosis my dog is being treated for, osteosarcoma, is not included in your diagnosis list. other than that you folks are great.

Handles Claims quickly and easy to submit
I love how easy it is to submit a claim; wish we could do this for people insurance. Also, monies back are usually quick as well.
No different than any other. Over priced by a lot! They do pay quickly once you figure out their cumbersome site. They do not allow a fax or photo by email as some do. They not doubled, not tripled, but now want to make my future payments 4 TIMES HIGHER the year before. I feel that is very unfair as my dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Before the increases were minimal…but you never know. The excuse they gave me is that “you know, everyone’s cost has gone up”. Right…but 4 times higher than the year before and they have included the increase for the cat that is healthy. The date below is not accurate, but they don’t give me an opportunity to be more specific regarding this issue.

I have such a lovely and healthy little dog that has never had one health issue (knock on wood), but since I have USAA, it made getting pet insurance a little more affordable (I needed to change companies). I like the peace of mind of pet insurance and hope never to have to make a claim. The enrollment process was simple and straightforward.
Embrace has always been great at paying claims. Before I had Medicare, I wished they did people insurance.
I really wanted to feel good about having Embrace as protection for my pets, but the experience has been frustrating. The claims process is slow and feels like it takes way too much effort on my end. Communication isn’t always clear, and I’ve had to follow up more than I should just to get simple answers. While the coverage itself is okay, the amount of stress and time it takes to actually use it makes me question whether it’s worth it. Pet insurance is supposed to give peace of mind, but instead it’s been another source of stress.
Embrace was very responsive. As soon as my vet sent the necessary paperwork, Embrace immediately settled my claim as advertised. I’m very happy to have this insurance to care for my pet and keep expenses down. Thanks USAA for partnering with Embrace.
Our cat has developed some issues as she has aged. Embrace has covered most the vet costs the were incurred for her care. We are grataeful to hav had Embrace to fall back on> They havae been great.
I've been with Embrace for close to 20 years, and 3 dogs. My Frenchie turned 8 a few weeks back. She was diagnosed with encephalitis not long after her 2nd birthday. She requires monthly low dose chemo treatments, but she's blessed us for 6 happy and healthy years with a terminal illness in remission. Our animals get Embrace coverage as soon possible as puppies. Embrace has reimbursed promptly all of the covered expenses within the policy limits for our Frenchie and other dogs with no hassles. This company truly is a life saver!
Great service and claim process. Of course I would prefer to get all that I paid back but I know it doesn't work that way. Timely process and explanation are always well stated.
I have submitted multiple claims and had very quick responses. When I didn't provide enough information, Embrace was able to contact my vet and get what they needed without me being involved. I have been impressed with the ease of the claims process.

Fast and easy...a bit pricey but worth it
We have been with them for over a year now and have had many claims due to our fur baby have so many issues his first year. We got reimbursed for the majority of it within a day or two. The only thing negative I can say is our monthly payment went up about 20-25$ maybe because all the claims.
Embrace always takes good care of our Lily. Reimbursements are as expected and speedy!

I have had pet insurance for a long time, my dog finally needed to use it after years and my claim was $3,200. The insurance covered less than half of the claim. With all the money I have put into the insurance I could've paid for the whole surgery instead of paying for pet insurance.

I have been with Embrace for about 3 years. I cannot say enough about the professional, efficient & friendly folks that have been so supportive of my little bestie. The turnaround from making a quick, easy online claim is very fast. Because of Embrace, I truly have been able to sustain Minkie’s quality of life as she is aging. My plan is a 90% - 10% and allows me the freedom to give her the best care possible - at a fair & reasonable price. My rating of Embrace is based upon ongoing outstanding performance on their part. The “Embracers” who handle Minkie’s claims are kind and get things moving fast.
We just signed up for Embrace for our pet. I had a few questions, so called and was sent to an agent (Jody) who answered all of my questions. I had to confer with my spouse, but I called Jody back with a few more that he answered. We signed up and it is giving me piece of mind.

Good at first. But so difficult to connect with customer service. I need log-in help, otherwise I would refer to the app. Called twice and waited too long. I'll have to call again. Hopefully without a long wait.
I like the claim process. It is straight forward and easy, with a quick return in my bank account. They are helpful over the phone. I took away 1 star, because more often than not, I have issues with the website. It will give me an error before starting a claim and sometimes in the middle of submitting a claim. This happens about 75% of the time. I called the number on the website, and they were unable to fix the problem (pretty much just wanted me to try a different browser), but emailed me a way to still submit the claim. I waited a few days and was able to use the online claim service. I don't know if there are website issues during high traffic times, but it is extremely frustrating.
1st I called Embrace as I forgot user name & password. The wait was longer than I cared to wait but the person that handled the call was patient, understanding & helpful. She than helped me make a claim. And she made everything easy to understand.

Our two Australian Shepherd have been Embraced for the past 10 years and the coverage has more than paid for itself several times over! Aussies are active, athletic and oftentimes acrobatic dogs, and they have had multiple illnesses and injuries fully covered. Now that they are older, we are treating one of them for osteoarthritis and the other for intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) with injections and medications as needed for pain management. We added a Labrador puppy to our family and it was never a question she would be covered by Embrace from the day she came home. Our pets' policies are clear and easy to understand, the website and app are super easy to navigate and our claims have always been paid fairly and promptly! We will continue being an Embrace family for the peace of mind knowing our coverage provides our pets with the the best care possible.
I have been with Embrace for about 11 years now. I currently have 3 cats insured and I had 1 cat who has passed, who was also covered throughout her life. Up until recently, I would rave about Embrace and recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance. My policy is set to renew in a few weeks and I recieved the new documents for the upcoming year and to my surprise, my premium was doubled, without warning. I spoke to an Embrace representative, and the policy for my oldest cat went up substantially. The representative told me it was due to age (my cat turned 12 this year) and they could "look into ways to reduce the cost" but in doing so, the coverage would be decreased as well. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. My oldest cat had some major health issues in the last few months and we almost maxed out his benefits for the year in a matter of weeks. All of my pets have been insured with Embrace since they were young (all before they were 2 years old). There have been many years that we did not make any claims for the year, beyond their wellness rewards. I insured all of them with the maximum coverage available, knowing it was an investment for their future. Though they didn't need the coverage as much when they were young, I knew as they got older, they would, and I wanted to be prepared to take on any medical issues that came up. Now I feel that they raised the premium for my oldest cat based on the medical issues that came up recently. His medical issues were not pre-existing and up until he got sick recently, we again, hadn't used his insurance beyond his wellness needs. This price increase seems directly linked to his recent illness and I have no choice but to pay their ridiculous increase, so that my boy will have access to the medical help that he needs. Embrace also knows that if I cancel my coverage to look for a different insurance company, all these current illnesses would be considered "pre-existing " and they would not be covered with a new policy. My cat who passed away, who was also insured with Embrace, was 15y when she passed. Not once did Embrace increase her premium due to her age, like they are claiming is the reason for the new increase for my boy. But she also didn't have as many claims in her golden years as her brother is having, which seems very suspicious. My cat has been insured with Embrace since he was 6 months old. I've paid thousands of dollars over the last decade to Embrace, and now that we need the coverage they are doubling what we have to pay just to keep him insured with the same amount of coverage that he has had his entire life. I feel scammed and I know I have no choice but to pay because he needs to be insured. Embrace, please be more clear in your policy that if your pet becomes ill and uses too much of their insurance, you will increase the price to retain the same amount of coverage. That should be known to customers upfront since pre-existing conditions limit the coverage and ability to change providers. I am saddened that Embrace has put me and my pets in this position. I have been paying into this company for over a decade, knowing it would be an investment for when my pets as they got older and medical issues would inevitably start to arise. Now that we are using the insurance more regularly, they are increasing the prices as a punishment for needing it. UPDATE: In response to Embrace's reply: My premium has been DOUBLED. This wasn't a slight inflation price increase based off the factors you listed. This is a 200% premium increase. I pay about $200 a month but now I will have to pay $400 a month for the same amount of coverage.

Embrace is great. I love that I am a member for 15 or more years. Very good to us. Yesterday though was the first time someone said they were going to send me a spread sheet of my dogs, Lexi, Jake, and Kings charges( how much did we spend on each dog). I told him that we need an idea of the charges to make an informed decision on picking a new policy. I have not received this spread sheet. This is the first time this has happened. I was being encouraged to maintain the 10000 reimbursement when I am trying to decide on the pricing. The amt has gone up and I need to review my option I was hoping for someone to help me with this issue. No help and no spread sheet. I have been a member for a long time. Embrace pet insurance is a good company but i fortunately haven't had to use it yet so idk how good they are when it comes to claims or reimbursement..
Fortunately, My dog has been pretty healthy. I will say though, every communication with Embrace has been pleasant and they are always responsive. They respond quickly and never mind answering questions about your policy or bill.

The representative was someone who knew what she was talking about. I looked at what benefits were offered and everything looked good. Our kitten was a very expensive one and my husband and I felt that our kitten should get the best policy.
The app is not really accessible for visually impaired users and you try to submit a claim using a screen reader the screen just stops working

My experience with PetEmbrace has been amazing! They have been there when I have needed them most and they have been very reliable. The only downside to using this insurance is having to pay out pocket first but they are pretty quick with the reimbursement so its a win. I have personally called their customer service and I felt very welcome and they help me with any issues I had. I think the price is very good for 2 pets covered with the comprehensive and illness plan.
So easy to deal with, and friendly. Great web portal, transparent processing sequence, if you can't afford Embrace, you probably can't afford the pet, they have saved us over $20k over the years and made it easy to give our pets the care they need. We've had three emergency eye surgeries and a knee procedure with two pets, not to mention more routine illness care. We would have had massive high interest credit card debt to manage without them. Do not go without pet insurance!
