Easy website to navigate
Claim was submitted for visit to our vet due to vomiting and diarrhea. The claim process was simple and easy. Claim was completed within a few days with detailed explanation of coverages provided. We are 100% satisfied with Embrace pet insurance.
Really like this insurance - policies are clear and easy to submit claims (unlike my experience with home insurance!). I do not recommend the wellness rewards - thats really just a pre-pay savings plan, not insurance. But the remaining coverage is great, claims are easy to file, and have never had unfair claim denials.

When Nationwide Pet Insurance unexpectedly pulled out of Florida, I was left scrambling to find a reliable replacement. After doing a lot of comparison shopping, I chose Embrace, and I’m so glad I did. With my anniversary coming up in October 2025, I can confidently say Embrace has been a solid choice. Insuring an older pet can be challenging, especially with pre-existing conditions not being covered, but Embrace was upfront about everything from the beginning. Their transparency, honesty, and patience really stood out. They answered all my questions thoroughly and even helped me compare options to make the best decision for my pet’s needs. It’s rare to find this level of support and customer care. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone navigating the complex world of pet insurance, especially if you're doing so under time pressure or with an older pet.
We had embrace for two of our dogs, about 11 years. I am very grateful we decided to get insurance for our 2 Great Danes. The claim reimbursement process is really fast and easy. There was one claim they denied, we spoke to them on it and they changed their mind. What I did not like (and I know all of us with all insurance can relate) is that my 2 dogs started with Accident & Illness plus Wellness for $75 for 2 dogs. Then as time went on the premiums would increase some years by 125%. Initially I canceled the Wellness to account for my budget and the increase. But year after year the increases were eye popping and if not at that 125% amount very close to it. I was so sad because we had paid for the insurance all of the years but finally with my one girl left they wanted to charge me $600 / month. I just could not afford it. So in the end, when I really needed insurance they astronomically raise my rates to get me to leave the plan (that's how I viewed it). Now that I am looking at getting another dog I am researching other companies. Had Embrace not done that at the end I would have used them for my new dog without question. So again Started at: $75/month $800 deductible 80% reimbursement 2 Dogs Wellness, Accident & Illness To: 2 Dogs with above Removed Wellness Escalated over 8 years to $450 /month Then: 1 dog passed 1 Dog with Accident & Illness $600/ month (when I finally had to cancel my policy because I just could not afford it.) 2 dogs $75 ending with 1 dog $600 1500% increase in monthly premium (and removing the wellness benefit)
I HAVE EMBRACE THROUGH USAA INSURANCE. IT'S BEEN A TERRIFIC POLICY FOR FIVE YEARS IN TERMS OF SERVICE AND RESPONSIVENESS.
I will leave my review for my never ending appreciation for Embrace. This is the seventh year I have had them and can't imagine a better insurance coverage for my GSP. Embrace has always been there for me and I'm so glad I chose them. They pay in an exceptional timely manner and when I've had to talk to any of their representatives, it's refreshing to know that they still know what Customer Service is all about. Thank you for all the support for the last seven years (and hopefully many more)!
Do not like the fact that I've had a policy 4 over 2yrs n hav yet 2 receive 1 dime bk frm Embrace! But $136 is being deducted out of our act. EVERY MONTH!!!!!!!
The website interface is simple and easy to navigate. The customer service has always been easy to reach and helpful when trying to coordinate between claims and the veterinarian. It isn't inexpensive but you do get value for the dollar you spend with veterinarian fees going up and up.

Ashley was extremely helpful in getting me a good monthly premium that still covered my dog properly. I have not have to use this insurance often, but when I have needed too I’ve saved thousands. For example, my dog had to have two lipomas removed and it would have been $3-$4k out of pocket, but after insurance I only paid $250. The process for reimbursement was very simple and quick. I recommend Embrace to everyone with pets!

File a claim is so easy and takes no time at all. And the best thing about Embrace Pet Insurance is how fast they process the claims.
Having used Embrace for three years now, the claim process is simple, quick, and painless. Claim updates are provided very fast (within hours), and payments arrive in a timely manner. The few times that I have requested more information from a human, it was provided immediately.
Submission process is very straightforward and App/Website makes the process very simple. Documentation upload is very easy and seamless.

The entire process from start to finish was so simple and easy and straightforward. It took maybe three minutes to input my direct deposit information and then click submit a claim put the date. Find my vet and upload the invoice and put in the dollar amount. Super super easy! I am thankful to my friend Debra Lee who referred me to Embrace pet insurance.
I was happy I received a discounst because I was an USAA member but not only that the rates were great for my 8 year old dog. They covered the expenses that I am currently experiencing on my 14 yr without insurance so I know what I could face years down that road will be covered.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience I had. The representative took the time to listen to my concerns and provided clear, detailed explanations of the different insurance options available for my pet as this was my first time getting a pet, and also navigating the insurance process. What stood out the most was his patience and willingness to answer all my questions, no matter how small. He ensured I fully understood the terms and conditions, helping me make an informed decision. It was evident that he genuinely cared about my pet’s well-being and wanted to find the best coverage for my needs.
Embrace coverage appears to be pretty comprehensive, although this is the first time I’ve submitted a claim and I just sent it. My one concern is that vets won’t bill this insurance carrier directly, which in some cases could negate the value of carrying this policy altogether. My dog’s ER visit was about $2500, and most ER hospitals require that you prepay. I’m not sure what I would’ve done, had it been $10,000. In that case, this policy wouldn’t have saved my dog.

Our bulldog needed a procedure for his eyes. We submitted the pre pre-certification paperwork and after the procedure we received our reimbursement within days. The amount received was exactly what Embrace had promised. We are very happy and highly recommend them.

The portal and the process for claims is terrific. Not only is it easy to use but the prompts are also very user friendly. This plus notification of receipt of claim and payment is very efficient.

The staff is friendly and helpful; however, they require a lot of work on your part to process a claim. I've submitted two claims, and one-third of the first one has been paid. I suppose I had a deductible that I wasn't aware of, so that's on me, the second one was never processed because of information that my vet needed to supply that was not received. You have to be very diligent about getting them the paperwork they need. It would be helpful if the company could be more involved in communicating with the veterinarian practice so their customers just have to put in the claim and leave the rest to them.
I can't say enough: Embrace has been the best decision for my dog's health. He is about to undergo surgery, and Embrace has been understanding and cooperative throughout the process.
Pet Medical always makes us feel like family instead of another appointment that some locations have done. Their warm hearts care for every animal, yes even humans. They really do try to find a way to bond with my feline to make the experience welcoming every time.
