We are fairly new to Embrace, and we have found the claim filing process to be quick and as smooth as silk. So far, we are very pleased that our two precious standard poodles have health insurance coverage under Embrace.

I tried trazedone one time to see if it would work for my dog’s fireworks anxiety, as many dogs have. Because it was listed in the medical records, the initial review noted that she was ‘anxious’. Other than loud noises, she is the sweetest and most calmest dog! My second year premium increased by 53% and the following year by 38%. When questioned about this, none of the reasons they offered, including blaming the state department of insurance, can justify over a 100% increase in two years! To be fair the claims process is quick and user friendly. Response times are reasonable and the staff is very professional and considerate.

My dog was recently diagnosed with an oral cancer. The diagnosis itself and treatment following was distressing to me and difficult for my dog however knowing she has had an Embrace policy throughout her life has made the process so much easier. I know she can get the treatment she needs. You never want to need to use your pet’s insurance benefits but what a relief to have coverage when illness occurs. The claim process was so easy to do and Embrace reimbursed me in just a few days.
I’ve been w/ Embrace for almost 7 years. Just recently I’ve had to file 2 claims because my dog got really sick. Filing claims online have been super easy. I made sure my vet gave me an itemized receipt w/ a diagnosis & submitted that with the claim. Turn around time to get payment reimbursement was not long at all, maybe a week or week in a half. Such a smooth process & they made sure to explain reimbursement & what’s not covered & covered.
When your baby is sick the last thing you want to worry about is insurance. Embrace made it seamless and I could worry about my dog instead of how to pay for his treatment. Thank you Embrace.

It was the first time I had submitted a claim and didn’t know what to expect. The process was very easy, I submitted my claim online with documents attached in minutes. I received a detailed response quickly and a reimbursement check soon after. I’m very happy with the process and pleasantly surprised that it was so easy.
I was able to pay for my dog's treatment knowing that I'd get reimbursed through Embrace. I was nervous about submitting claims, like, maybe it would be tricky or somehow his treatment wouldn't have been covered, but it was so easy! And I was so amazed at how quickly I was reimbursed. I tell everyone that they should get their pets insured before something bad happens. It really is a lifesaver, in every sense of the word.

Overall they were easy to work with in getting the claim paid. There seemed to be some confusion regarding medical records that had been submitted, but could not be found in your system, but it was resolved satisfactorily.
So easy to submit a claim! Great website. Love the little space dog logo too. This isn't my first claim with them. The first one was processed quickly and they covered everything listed in the contract without hassle.

I have had this insurance for 2 years and thank god did not have to use it that much and was very disappointed that the rates increased drastically to make me search for a different company. Much more expensive than most
The increase in price was advised to me yesterday. When inflation is overwhelming us (gas & food), this added hardship was hard to take. So I had to reduce annual amount, increase deductible, remove Rx coverage. I’m keeping it for now, but shopping the competition to see if there’s something else I might consider.
It has been a great experience with Embrace. They are prompt, helpful and fulfill the terms of the insurance contract. After having so many problems with other pet insurance companies, I finally found Embrace. Very happy with them.
Every experience I’ve had with embrace has been a great one. I enjoy choosing how much coverage I can choose to fit our needs. We have two dogs insured through them. The policy itself is fair and well worth the peace of mind it entails. The coverage is excellent. We live in a semi rural area, so being able to chose the vet we need for emergency services is an absolute win for both dogs. Whether it be the primary care vet or an emergency vet, embrace has your back through both and whichever vet you choose. The initial medical records review process can be tedious, but well worth it. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a little extra peace of mind for your fur babies especially in a rural area. Love it. 10/10 recommend.
Great customer empathy and service. They were understandably very thorough and required the proper invoices, but prompt once completed. Just hope my puppy doesn’t swallow another rock!

I got off to a rough start with Embrace when I put in a claim for my Dog “Koru” who was diagnosed with cancer in September. I was told that his condition was deemed pre-existing from a veterinary record they had back in January, and I immediately took to google and wrote a scathing review about how bad this company is. Once I’d calmed down and explored the options that Embrace offered me to appeal their decision, I had my Vet submit information stating that there’s no way Koru could’ve survived if the cancer had been there since January, and gone untreated. The decision was immediately overturned, and all claims were honoured promptly with auto pay directly to my account within a week of each submission. Unfortunately Koru lost his battle with cancer on 11/06/2023, but without the insurance I would’ve been out of pocket over $5000.00. Thank you for honouring your policy Embrace, and helping me get through this difficult time.
I'm very grateful for Embrace. They make the claim process very easy. I recently submitted for an appeal for my pet that was documented on initial evaluation that he had a preexisting condition which he did not. Still, I did not catch since I don't review the veterinary records. I did contact Embrace and they were able to assist me with what to provide to be able to remove the "preexisting condition". I would highly suggest anyone who has an elder pet to get Embrace. Illnesses and accidents are not planned. We purchased the policy over a year and half ago I think and just recently he became ill and we were able to use the policy which was a huge "peace of mind".

Embrace Pet Insurance has been wonderful! It is so easy to submit a claim and each claim is quickly evaluated and paid. The bonus for me is that the claim is paid directly into my bank account. Their documentation on what is and what is not covered is very easy to understand. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance!

I very much liked the ease of talking to a rep. All of the company reps were sweet, knowledgeable, and kind. Even the one who took my cancellation notice was friendly and never tried to change my mind or sell me anything. I adopted my Coda one day after putting my 20+ yr old Pepper to sleep for serious kidney issues. I wanted full coverage for the new one so I didn't have to spend huge money if she was found to suffer from kidney issues as well. She had been to a vet once with previous owner and from that ONE visit, they refused to cover her for any kidney issues due to one lab done 2 yrs previous. I will care for this lil girl the remainder of her days, but them considering her a bad risk due to ONE lab, irritated me beyond my ability to continue with the now over $400/yr. coverage rate which was much higher than her initial yr. coverage. Nope, I am NOT paying for other pets issues and rate increase because of ONE lab. I am a retired R.N. and have worked with insurance companies all of my career. If this had been a human being I would have been appalled, however I am simply angry with it being a pet. My income is fixed. I can't afford outrageous jumps in a policy coverage rate in only one year especially if it will not cover the health issues I most worry over. I will simply put money aside monthly for her vetting. Give me rationale for this massive rate increase at least, before simply billing me. ( she was seen by her vet ONCE in this past year for her distemper inj. and I never bothered to submit it thinking it would push her fee up. I was wrong, and should have known it would go up anyway). Insurance was a waste for Coda and I.

Easy to submit claims
One of the Best Investments I've ever made in Insurance. The price of emergency care has sky rocketed. Last year I had a friend that adapted a puppy. After 4 months of bliss his puppy got cancer. Long story short puppy is doing well but it took 3 months of surgery's, chemo (yes chemo) and many visits to Vet and Vet hospital. For real his Vet bills totaled over $16,000. So when we got our puppy this year I checked into animal insurance. I heard all the horror stories that the animal insurance companies never pay but after extensive research and quotes I felt Embrace was the best bang for the buck. I've had pets before and hardly ever needed a Vet for other than basic wellness but my friends experience made me choose to try it out. My puppy policy was not very expensive at all. Needless to say my puppy at 6 months old was either stung by a bee or bit by a snake (never saw what did it to her) and she went into anaphylactic shock and almost died. Well the Vet hospital bill and follow up was over $2500. Embrace paid their contracted share within 2 weeks ($1800 or 90% after my $500 deductable), directly to my bank account. After initial required documentation from me they did all the legwork with the Hospital and Vet. Best thing of all was when the Hospital told me what was needed to save our puppy I didn't flinch about proceeding with the procedures, figuring that's why I got insurance. After all was said and done It sure was nice to know I didn't have to have our puppy either put down or take on an enormous amount of debt to save her. The peace of mind was such a relief. Vets and Hospitals are not cheap these days. I can't give enough praise to my Embrace experience and their part in saving my puppy's life.
It's very sad that people health insurance isn't as quick and easy to navigate as Embrace pet insurance is. The people at Embrace made the process so easy and were so incredibly helpful. Thank you very much to everyone at Embrace for making a difficult time less painful.

Super easy process
Hi, first time in my life (I'm 71!) I've taken out pet insurance, but everything is so expensive these days, and one of my kitties just went to heaven less than 3 weeks ago. So I took out an Embrace policy for my 11-year old kitty, Buffie and took her in for her annual exam last week. I bought the wellness package also, so that would help with some of the cost. I followed directions to submit a claim for her annual exam and toenail trim, and couldn't believe how easy it was. Better than sliced bread! All this time I thought pet insurance would be exorbitantly expensive, but I'm retired from military and also covered by USAA for auto and home, so have those discounts with Embrace. Wish I would have done that years ago with my Benjamin Kitty, my sweet guy who is no longer in pain now. Everyone I've spoken to at Embrace has just absolutely been the Cat's Meow!!

Filing a claim was very easy with Embrace! I’m a first time pet parent with no previous experience. My little love required emergency surgery to remove a large quantity of gauze. I was able to file two claims - two separate procedures - with ease. The checks arrived in my mailbox- in one envelope- within five days of filing. I’m very impressed with the ease of the whole claim process.

My babies have been with Embrace for 15 years. My baby boy Kenji was 13 years old when he passed away on 10/3/2021. My baby girl Kiki will be 9 years old in February. I rarely have any issues with Embrace. Most of my claims are reimbursed.
