I love embrace but…….

I love embrace but this claim was the first injury claim I’ve ever submitted, and it took a longgggggggg time to process! And it also was stuck in the step of checking history ? Well didnt you already do that? It was super frustrating to me! Also when then send you explanation of benefits PLEASE give us LAMENT terms WTH Im already frustrated with waiting 3.5 weeks to be reimbursed now I don’t want to be guessing on if his 6000 surgery will be covered? And spend more time on hold then 3-4weeks more to get reimbursed for that

Great to work with…

My cat experienced a serious liver ailment. She had to be hospitalized for several days. I submitted the claim to Embrace and they settled it quickly. They kept me informed as to the progress all along the way. They copied me on emails they sent my vet, which I really appreciated. When I called them, they were friendly and helpful. Simple and Effective Process

We have used embrace for 6 years

We have used embrace for 6 years. Like any insurance you invest for peace of mind if you have a major vet bill. They also offer a wellness feature that has a monthly payment and then covers no accident, injury or illness coverage. The benefit is about 13% larger than the premium and covers items like annual examine, vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm medications. For six years i have use all of the benefit. Filing a claim is very easy and response and payment is usually with 2-3 days. On the few times I have needed to make a phone call the agent is knowledgeable and attentive.

Excellent Financial Support

Embrace made the entire process of submitting claims and getting reimbursed super easy. Their app is very user-friendly, and their communication during the medical record review process kept me up-to-date on who had - and hadn't - sent in the requested documents. Once the claim was approved, the money was deposited into my account the next day! I don't recommend spending a weekend at the emergency vet, but if you must it's great to have a partner like Embrace to make the financial aspect a bit easier.

I had my doubts about pet insurance, but I was wrong.

My partner and I are INCREDIBLY grateful for Embrace Pet Insurance. We insured our three cats about a year or two ago when we adopted our two youngest ones. I was pretty skeptical about pet insurance. If it was anything like my regular health insurance for myself, I expected they'd never come through when I needed them. But I was willing to give them a shot. Well, turns out the oldest one ended up developing Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease and was rushed to the vet, hospitalized for three days, and had to undergo surgery to save his life. When you're in the moment, you'd do anything for your little one. And at first glance of the bill, my heart sank. We had just started getting our savings up and this would have tanked us. But then I remembered that we pay for Embrace every month. And boy am I grateful we do! We had the majority of our costs reimbursed! And I'm even happier to report that our little guy is happy and healthy again! I'm grateful for Embrace because they are truly a great thing to have in your back pocket.

Great Pet Insurance

Superior Coverage

I have been with Embrace for over 13 years. I have multiple pets covered with Embrace. Unfortunately some of my fur babies had been very sick. All my experiences either in the form of phone calls, claims or emails have been great experiences. Because of JJ’s insurance we were able to get her radiation and got another wonderful year with her that we are so very grateful for. There were no questions no arguments or trying to get out of paying for it on your end. It made it much more feasible for us and we were not ready nor was she to say goodbye. Since then we have had to say goodbye but her insurance even in this helped cover the at home euthanasia we chose in order to make her transition less stressful for all of us and more personal and in reality a little less tragic. I couldn’t imagine the drive to the vet the cold sterile room that didn’t smell like home to her, the drive home without her in our arms. Anyway, thank for always being there for us. We have adopted a new puppy since and have entrusted her future care with your insurance company as well. I just couldn’t see going anywhere else or trusting anyone to make difficult financial decisions easier for her health. We would find a way no matter what. But this makes anything she might need in the future a no brainer. Thank you so much for your past and future support. I had a claim recently that Embrace…

I had a claim recently that Embrace denied because of a pre-existing condition. So, I contacted my vet to find out what condition was being referred to. My vet wrote an email explaining that it was not pre-existing, Embrace reviewed it, and agreed and they covered the costs. But, the Embrace email said that there continued to be a pre-existing condition. So, my vet challenged that saying that the test used on my pet was before she became my vet and that test has been declared inconclusive and no longer considered valid. Embrace reviewed this and agreed so my pet no longer has a pre-existing condition on her record. I have never had an insurance company take issues like this seriously and reconsider their decision which Embrace did and I really appreciate.

Embrace is the BEST

When my dog blew out his knee, I admit I panicked about how I would afford his surgery and aftercare - then I remembered I have Embrace. I received my reimbursement via direct deposit in less than 30 days, and thanks to the addition of Wellness coverage, I had a lot fewer out-of-pocket costs than I imagined. Its a real comfort to have such comprehensive and compassionate care from an insurance provider.

I found the claims process pretty easy. The direct deposit option for reimbursement adds another layer of simplicity. The very first claim took a little longer (a couple of weeks maybe), but once the first claim was processed subsequent claims were processed within a couple of days.

Insurance is too expensive. It goes up every year and is almost impossible to continue. The well visit plan is not worth the money. You get back what you put in but have to submit receipt the wait for reimbursement just to break even.!

I called Embrace because they were rated #1 by Forbes. I talked to Brian, who answered all of my questions and concerns after a bad experience with Spot Pet Insurance. We adopted a 4 month old Silver Miniature Poodle 9 months ago. We purchased pet insurance to cover needed vet bills and medicines for our baby. We recently took Sterling to the vet for a heartworm test so we could get our new prescription for Trifexis, which I was expecting to be reimbursed for the test and the 6 month prescription. The vet informed me that there is a new year long shot for heartworms and told us how much it cost and that the shot only prevents heartworms and we would still need flea and tick prevention. We decided to do the heartworm shot and purchased Bravecto for fleas and ticks for 3 months for each application. When I sent my claim in to Spot, they approved $25 for all treatment (Test was $41, Heartworm Shot was $107 and 3 month prevention for Fleas and Ticks (Bravecto) was $75.70, $223.70 Total). They said they only cover $25 per year for heartworm tests, prevention and flea and tick prevention. $25 for the year!! I questioned this and they told me it was on page 10 of the contract. I searched with them on the phone to find it on the last page of the contract (Page 21) after the name and address of the company that carries the policy, not Page 10. It is hidden at the end on the very last page! I immediately canceled my policy with them and ended on the phone with Brian with Embrace! Brian was very professional and knowledgeable about the insurance policy and what I needed for the coverage I was interested in. I told him I wanted to talk to my husband before I actually made a decision about coverage. He told me he could call me back at noon the next day, which was a Saturday. He called at exactly noon and signed me up. I feel confident that things will go much better with Embrace instead of Spot who hides things in their policies!!

I have never before had insurance for…

I have never before had insurance for any of my pets. In the past it was a costly mistake. Our last German Shepherd dog bloated and required immediate surgery costing over 7k dollars. Later, he developed perianal furunculosis, and we lost him shortly after his diagnosis. When my husband and I purchased our new dog we knew immediately we need to purchase insurance just in case! Hoping, of course to never need it. However, that wasn't the case. Recently, our dog had a spell of allergies and required vet care. Then two weeks later he got pretty sick and was vomiting, shaking, and landed us in the ER. With $2000 in unexpected vet bills it was an ouch! I immediately filed both claims with Embrace. The claims went through normal procedure, and I received an email yesterday that both claims have been processed and paid! Thank you, Embrace!! We HOPE to never need anything else but the wellness insurance! We are SO grateful!

Embrace Pet Insurance settled my claim quickly. It was the first time I’d submitted a claim for my 12 year old dog, Syd. Syd became very ill. I took him to an emergency veterinary hospital. Several tests were done that showed he would require a very delicate surgery. At his age the prognosis wasn’t good. The made the decision to have him euthanized. I was told by Embrace that they would need to review Syd’s records for several previous years and that it could take about 30 days for them to determine a payment. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received an email with a very generous settlement within a week! The people I spoke with were all very kind and considerate. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance.
