Embrace has been very good about reimbursing claims in a timely manner. Usually, claims are processed within a few days after submitting them. Submitting claims are super simple using their on-line claim submission process.
I’ve had a good experience with this pet insurance company. Make sure you get it when you first get your dog. Don’t wait or you’ll have pre-existing conditions. I have it on both my dogs. One has a pre-existing condition of anxiety so his meds aren’t covered. They also don’t cover prescription dog food which is a major bummer because ifs so expensive. So consider that if signing up with them. But it’s been good so far! I’ve had the insurance for 2 years and we won’t be without it.
It was easy to apply. My current insurance changed hands again and up the price and got rid of items and deductible. Your insurance is closer to what I had.

Embrace has given me more comfort than I can express! No matter what the situation is, they've always been there for me. It's amazing how fast a claim is processed. I had a claim on 5/28/25 for a Cytopoint shot and I received an email on on 5/30/25 that it had been reviewed and paid. I wish our personal insurance's was that fast and easy to use!
Claim filing is so easy to do and the response and processing of claims is fast. I am so glad I have this insurance for my much beloved and spoiled fur baby
This is my 2nd pet that I've had insurance and wellness coverage and the premium is a great price as well as the process for claims is very simple.
Really easy claims experience! They got back to me really quickly on all my claims and payment was sent promptly. Their app does need a lot of work. I try to submit claims on the app. It seems to always crash on me, but the computer works fine. Great coverage options and insurance for my fur babies!
I have insurance of my other cats in another company, but Embrace sends reimbursement really fast. I highly recommend others get their pets insured here.
My lil furbaby had to have her eye removed no issues. Now with her 1 eye left she is having issues but I don't need to stress abt the bill cause embrace covered most of it
Overall, Embrace is an excellent company. There are things I wish were better, like less pre-existing conditions. But you allowed us to afford to maintain our senior dog, Boone, for the last four years of his 14 years of life. Your claim process is so easy, and the response time has gotten faster over the years. These are the reasons we gave Embrace 5 stars.

Interesting submission. My dog had multi-day hospitalization and subsequent surgery. Each day had to be submitted separately due to multiple providers. Also, credits were issued; no way to submit those to clarify amount due in total.
This company has the easiest procedure for filing a claim. Filing takes only a few minutes and responds time is usually within 2 weeks.

I have had my dogs insured with Embrace for years now. They are fast and competent. I can do everything online, but they are easy to talk to if I have a question. I DID have a problem entering the diagnosis. It has happened in the past. I have to back up to the previous page and try again a couple of times but the software eventually gets there.

I've had Embrace since 2018 and have a difficult time when reading some of the negative reviews. In all the years I have been with them, I have yet to have a problem with any of my claims. There have been a few things that I was uncertain about coverage on a specific treatment, but if it wasn't covered (and there isn't much that Embrace doesn't cover) it was always explained. Say what you want, but if the price increases, your pet also gets older and more issues may arise. It doesn't matter to me what the cost is. There is nothing that I can put a price on when it comes to Cooper.
The customer service is awesome and they reply in a timely manner on requests for reimbursement for insurance claims.
I bought embrace insurance when my golden retriever was a puppy. She had surgeries and diagnosed with cancer. Embrace had helped me with pet bills. The customer rep. always answers the phone with timely manner and very respectful. I recommend embrace insurance to all pet owners.

CLAIM PROCESS WAS EASY TO SUBMIT
Very easy claims process, detailed explanation of what is covered & why, fast payment. Our dog was bit by a rattlesnake and we were SO grateful that Embrace allowed us to provide the appropriate care needed to save her life.
Having problems submitting claims, seems the website locks up from time to time and does not allow you to finish. Have to submit again the next day.
Our kitten was diagnosed with HCM at age 1 and large cell lymphoma at age 2.5. Sadly, lymphoma is an aggressive cancer, and he survived only a couple months beyond his diagnosis. We were able to enjoy the extra time we had with him, and Embrace was there the entire time. Claims were processed within days of submission and knowing we had Embrace to support us, financial impacts were completely removed from making medical decisions. I have my other pets insured with Embrace as do my family members. 100% recommend.

This was my first time using the claim process. it was very easy to navigate thru the screens & submit a claim.
The agent was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I just signed up for Embrace for my two dogs after Fetch Pet sent me an email that my insurance was going to go up to over $500 a month. Also Fetch Pet charged the deductible for every event whereas Embrace charges the deductible once per year which is the way it should be.
With our newest adoptees, beginning in 2019 we switched to using Embrace from another well-known pet insurance company that changed underwriters and became more difficult to process claims through. Embrace had the same coverage and similar pricing, but stood out for the excellent customer service. It could not be more clear what the exclusions are per pet, what they consider pre-existing for each pet, etc. I appreciate that there is no wondering what will or won't be covered! The refunds are very efficient, sometimes as quick as the same day!
Easy to sign up and download the app. I’m coming from healthy paws, which clearly has a better app experience so I would say that’s the only thing I would love to see upgraded

We purchased our Embrace Pet Insurance for our 4 dogs in May, 2024. At the time we had 3 German Shepherds and a Japanese Spitz. We have had many dogs over the years but never insured any of them. Since we got all of these dogs in 2023 I thought 2024 was a great time to get pet insurance. The main reason was because of the 3 German Shepherds. Well in August, 2024 my Japanese Spitz puppy was diagnosed with cancer. Our Embrace insurance paid for her weekly oncology visits until the end of October with no hesitation. I would submit her invoices and have the reimbursement in our account within 1-2 days after submission. Embrace made a terribly sad situation better by us not having to worry about the financial side of it. Embrace did everything their insurance promised! I recommend to all friends with pets to get Embrace!
Like most pet insurance there is a scam aspect to it. You really don’t get the coverage you get in human medical insurance. I used embrace for 5 years and the rates have gone up between 20% and 35% each year, so I constantly have raise my deductible and decrease my yearly aggregate amount they pay. I have swithed to Prudent Pet insurance and saved 1300 for the year for the same coverage, so let’s see what happens. Not sure why embrace invited me to review when I just canceled my policy?

I've had Embrace Pet Insurance for 3 years. I added the wellness plan. Very happy with the company and their fast response to claims. Every year, the Wellness Plan covers all annual shots, tests, and usually 3 months worth of flea and tick prevention. Having this insurance gives me peace of mind.

Never had a problem with company. All my claims were approved within a couple of days. I've been with them for about two years now. They are also helpful on the phone as well.

Embrace really makes submitting a claim very easy with their prompts. I am very appreciative of this because this can be stressful, but not with Embrace. Thank you for streamlining directions/prompts - plus uploading the Vet invoices was a breeze. The claim process was a breeze! I was guided though out the input and upload process. The app is VERY user friendly. With two pups, I appreciate that as I don't often need to fill out claim forms for urgent care issues. The easy claims process gets my claims in the system and going fast. THANK YOU!
We've been ensuring our cats with Embrace for 15 years and have nothing but good experiences. We tend to adopt cats with multiple health problems so we never hesitate to get them the care they need. Our claims are processed within a day or two, and reimbursement just a day or so later. At one point we calculated that the benefits we received from Embrace were six times what we paid in premiums. This latest incident was a potential emergency which turned out fine and Embrace came through as quickly and efficiently as ever.
The customer service is great, they have reimbursed me quickly which is very helpful. No problems getting pre-approval for specialized care, the pre-approval wasnt needed but I needed to make sure for my own peace of mind. Highly recommend them.
Embrace Pet Insurance pays my claims reallyt fast. My complaint is with the website--it is very slow and crashes. I end up unable to file claims and have to try some time later. Then it's slow again. It happened 12 May 25 and then 20 May 2025

Company provides excellent customer service.
Company more than doubled my pet premiums with little notice. No explanation and I had to call in to find out why. I couldn’t get an acceptable answer. Now I’m stuck with this company due to pre existing conditions which really upsets me as a consumer. I thought my premiums were stable.
I have had a lot of trouble with getting claims processed correctly. Often they process for the wrong pet, or don't pay correctly (i.e., pay more for the wrong pet, less for the other). The new claims issue is they state my cats' receipts aren't legible. That's impossible - clear as can be. Their email says to check out the claims in the portal, but neither claim is there for either pet, and there is no correspondence in the portal. I just resubmitted 2 wellness claims from Feb! I don't know if they're working from home and getting interrupted
Customer service was friendly, and courteous (I had a stroke fact affected my speech). He took all the time to let me get out what to say. He answered all my questions.
