Ignorance is costly
So far, the only complaints I have are the extra fees (which are an unfortunate consequence of dealing with any lending institution) and not being adequately informed of the procedures for filing a claim on the warranty I purchased with my home. My HVAC system went out within a few months of purchasing my house. Because I didn't know the correct process for filing a claim, I was refused the warranty coverage I paid for. It cost me an extra $11,000.

Veteran's United genuinely cares about people and their customers. They treat you as "family", not just another customer. Once they prepare you, via prior approval, to purchase a home, get you through the process of purchasing a home, then closing, that's not the end. They continue to partner with you. For example, we purchased our home 2 years ago, but when interest rates dropped a couple of weeks ago, Ryan Schuermann reached out to us to offer refinancing! This was the second time! What company/companies actually take the time to keep up with customers in this way? We don't know of any. VU and Ryan are absolutely AMAZING! In addition, the professionalism, knowledge, patience, and kindness demonstrated by Ryan and Jessica, are all qualities that contributed to my wife and my desire to do business with Veteran's United. We were a little skeptical at first, because these qualities seemed to good to be true. However, it's been 2 YEARS since we purchased our home and NOTHING HAS CHANGED! Ryan and Jessica are still AMAZING!
