Super Easy, Super efficient. Super pleased! The entire experience for applying for the loan and getting funding for the loan was super quick and convenient. Granted, had I not been so pressed for time I probably would have indicated that I would be using the loan to pay off credit card bills… Which would’ve brought my loan rate down. Ah well… You live and you learn!

SoFi saved me from Jerome Powell!
With the Fed jerking interest rates through the roof I was paying almost $100 in INTEREST ONLY on a credit card I had with a $5K balance owing. Car repairs, a sick dog, home repairs Now, it's my emergency card... Anyway, I watched my interest rate on the card go from 14.99% to 17.99% through no fault of my own, got angry and turned to SoFi for help. SoFi lent me $5,000.00 for 2 years, and sent the $5K directly to the credit card company with that nasty balance owing. My interest charges on the credit card went from $85-90 dollars per month to around $10.00. Way better! SoFi, God bless them! gave me a fixed interest rate of 8.25% (beats the heck out of 17.99% !) and charged me a manageable, fixed amount every month. I paid this loan off with them, early, today. I was completely satisfied with my experience and would definitely consider using SoFi again to meet my financial needs. They're honest, transparent, up-front and never surprised me with any weird fees or charges. The website is easy to navigate. I never needed Customer Service assistance, which is probably the nicest thing I can say about SoFi. They were a pleasure to work with online. Highly recommended! The whole process was incredibly easy from start to finish. I needed a personal loan to pay off several high interest credit cards and SoFi was seriously the answer to all my problems with high interest cards. Now I can just pay a single loan instead with less than half the interest rate as my cards had. This will reduce my monthly payment by almost $500/month

Great features...terrible customer service
I like that they allow you to get your direct deposit early and you can move accounts fairly easy. But, the customer service is abysmal. I had an issue with a refund, that I never saw added back to my available balance and if they can show me when the transaction/pending status was removed from the account I'd be more than happy to accept whatever they say. But the agents were beyond condescending and started to tell me things like I don't understand how a bank works. I'm honestly thinking long and hard about taking my funds out. I like some of the other features but I am so disappointed in their customer service and their lack of empathy or enthusiasm for supporting their customer base. I just don't know if I can stay with them long-term.

Smooth process in obtaining a personal loan. Took about a day and a half to complete. Only odd issue we had was they wanted actual work confirmation from our employers via email. I guess since the loan is a significant amount I understand that part of their process. Never had to do that for financing before. All in all I recommend SoFi. User friendly app and quick process.

My experience with sofi...
The only experience I have with sofi is with personal loans. From day one they've made their processes simple and efficient. They've always been good to me, and the customer service is excellent. I shop around when it comes to financial services. There are a lot of bait and switch offers out there that always look like a better deal than what I have through sofi. But everytime the the actual rate and terms are never as advertised. Sofi doesn't bait you in they give it to you straight and have always been the best rate as well as terms. I highly recommend sofi!

SoFi made the lending process seamless !
SoFi made the lending process seamless. My primary causation for the loan was that my FURbaby needed emergency surgery. I was granted a credit card (with a higher interest rate) from the vet to pay for the bill; however, SoFi's database needed the CVV code to process. The code is not on such a card. SoFi allowed me to simply transfer the funds to my bank account so that I can just pay the invoice myself. So simple!!
