It arrived when I needed it most, and yet it was much better than other loans offered, and the flexibility of doing everything online without having to go to an office allowed me to refinance my old loan and have cash in hand to pay off my credit cards. I can only say that it is highly recommended if you want to lower your APR and your financial burden.

Just so happens I wanted to concentrate my bills & I was able to take advantage of a pretty low & decent interest rate & it was very easy with the website & with easy instructions to follow it made it easy to apply. The funds transferred very quickly once approved. I highly recommend if someone was interested in a loan

I truly and greatly appreciate SoFi. Im currently going through a divorce and losing everything I've worked for my entire life. I needed a loan to consolidate bills and to provide for my son. Ive worked hard my entire life built / provided a loving happy home / life. Most banks forget most people come to them in times of financial needs. My local bank couldn't help me with a personal loan due to the divorce and uncertainty of the outcome. Even though all my finances checking savings loans mortgage are with them over 20yrs. Other banks want to take advantage with 27-36%APR. SoFi accepted my loan request gave a better APR at 15% and funds available in 2 days. I greatly appreciate the help and a chance to rebuild my future. I just wish the rates were more reasonable but when your backs against the wall you'll take any help you can get.

Self-Employed IT Pro: Beat Navy Fed rates + NO origination fees like Best Egg and Upgrade charge!
Honestly, being self-employed usually makes getting a loan a nightmare of paperwork, even with a 787 FICO. SoFi was completely different. I've seen a lot of negative reviews on here, but digging deeper, most seem to stem from their crypto and deposit accounts. I don't use those products. Speaking strictly for the lending side, this was flawless. I decided to use their option to automatically link my bank account for verification, and I highly recommend you do the same if you want speed. It streamlined the whole process—I was instantly approved for more than I actually requested. Avoiding the need to upload voided checks or any of that mess. Full disclosure: I do have numerous personal loan payoffs on my record from over the years, which definitely likely helped the approval algorithm move fast. But the experience was still seamless compared to others. The financials were the real win, though: Rates: They beat Navy Federal (which is hard to do). Fees: Unlike Best Egg and Upgrade, SoFi has no origination fees. I didn't have to lose a percentage of my loan just to get funded. Though I could have opted to pay an origination fee to get access to their lowest rate, 8.74. But I chose not to as it wouldn't have made a large enough effect to warrant the loss of funds upfront. Heads-up for S Corp owners: SoFi strictly does personal loans. They do not fund businesses directly. If you need capital specifically for your S Corp, they will just refer you to financial partners. Stick to personal use for this one. If you're a contractor or self-employed looking for personal funding, just link your account and go. Easiest lending experience I've ever had online. I also like the fact that you have a very strong approval with their pre approval tool, so long as your numbers match or exceed on your application, it's as close to guaranteed as you can get. But avoid the mail offers as those are not based on the latest review of your credit reports and SoFi will likely pull from 2 or 3 of your reports.

Was a victim of government shut down. Couldn’t apply for unemployment because we still needed to work a 10 hour day without being paid. If we refused, we’d be fired. I am a single parent and have a child and decided that any job is better than no job and in this market/economy, no job is very likely. Sofi really helped save me financially. I’ll be able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner. And I’ll be able to afford presents for Christmas. And the interest rate to pay it back is low. Thank you so much to Sofi!
