This was the easiest loan I have ever got. The process was quick and easy. I could not have asked for a better experience. My other experiences with this type of loan through a different bank took a lot more effort from me. Had to talk to people on the phone, find a bunch of information (phone numbers and addresses, ect) for where I wanted the funds to go. SoFi really simplified that process. I liked that I could work on this at my own pace with everything being done online so if I had to stop and do something else I could then come back to it and I didn’t have to try to find a convenient time to talk to someone on the phone.

The experience, my first, was very easy and rather quickly. The terms of my loan met all my expectations and allowed me to pay off several credit cards and loans. My SoFi payment was incredibly less compared to the combined payment of credit cards and loans together. I had my money in a matter of days!

For me, it was difficult to know whether the many positive reviews I read about SoFi were written by real people or bots. When looking for debt relief I was both quite anxious and leary of trusting a service because I was afraid of making my situation worse. I wanted to take time to write a review because I am a real person and have had, so far, a great experience. Everyone's situation is different...so this is not meant to be advice. If your situation is similar to mine, perhaps SoFi can help you as well. When I applied I had about $40,000 of credit debt and a credit score of 640. Nervously, I applied a few different times, right up to the point of doing a hard pull on my credit because I feared making my score worse. After four starts, I finally completed the application. There was some relief in being presented about four or five options to paying off my debt. I chose the best terms for me and then felt some additional relief when I had a specific plan to pay off my debt in three years. I had read reviews about SoFi changing the APR during the course of repayment. My loan is a fixed APR for the term of the loan and the rate is far better than what two of my credit lines were. One question that took some time to find an answer to is that, after the first repayment, I can change the monthly due date. It took me three days to have the loan money show up in the accounts I needed it to...I had most of the loan deposited to creditors directly. I mention this because I did get confusing messaging from SoFi about when the money would actually show up in the accounts...and banks have their own slow processes. All in all, I am very glad a month in that I did this. It feels good to have a plan. The application process itself was easy.

Due to various homeowner emergencies, we had astronomical credit card debt that we needed to pay down with a lower interest rate. SoFi was recommended in a Reddit post and we went with it. It was super easy and convenient and there are multiple ways to decrease your interest rate, including having the money go straight to the credit cards (as we did) as well as setting up auto pay. Excellent experience and will definitely use them again if needed!

The loan application process was very smooth.
The loan rate was much lower than current rates. So much so that I could combine all of my debt into one monthly payment that was much lower than what I was currently paying. The debt consolidation loan returned close to three thousand of monthly income back to monthly savings. This extra savings will allow for a faster repayment of this loan.

Fast Consolidation at Decent Rate
The process was very easy and I had $ by the next business day which was a amazing! I would have preferred that the estimated offer be the highest interest rate instead of the estimated rate with discounts. I also could not get the discount for directly paying my credit cards because it could not connect for certain reasons outside of my control. I still would highly recommended SoFi as I was able to consolidate my high interest credit cards within minutes and still at a decent lower interest rate.

I decided to take out a personal loan for debt consolidation. So glad I did. The process was easy in terms of getting accepted. SoFi provided rating and length of time options that were suitable for me. From there, it took about a day or two for the money to hit my account. When the money arrived, I did exactly what I set out to do. I paid off all of those predatory cards/rates. I won’t ever get myself in a situation like that. Sofi, the ADA, and reasonable accommodations
It didnt start of great but Abe heard me out, went through the details on sofi's website (regarding reasonable accommodations) and the ADA's website regarding what banks are to do when it comes to customers with disabilities, and being able to access sofi's services. We worked this out together, and came to a a conclusion that Sofi was able to accommodate and stopped an acute panic attack... that could have triggered something worse. I want to thank the representative in loans (yes loans) who got me to the right person/department and to Abe for helping me out. While this should be understood, most banks will wait for a class action lawsuit to truly "care." However, Sofi and Abe demonstrated my value to them, as a customer, no matter my personal, or financial situation. Many thanks, Susan

After a short pre-qualification process I was offered several options to choose from. Upon my selection I received final approval without any documents being required and my loan was processed within 2-3 business days.

The application process was as easy as could be. I applied through Credit Karma, so I only had to verify my information and provide a pay stub and I applied and was approved within the same day. I had just been denied by Citi Bank where I have had an account for three years since they could not verify my address. This despite me faxing and mailing proof of my address and being a current customer. I did not have a relationship with SoFi prior to this but am very impressed with their application process and follow up.

Here’s a realistic view of it it’s great for people who make less than 100k a year however if your self employed or need to cash checks consider another bank as a w2 worker with direct deposit it’s a good bank high apr decent customer service however after a certain point you will out grow it if you progress and start making more than 6 figures good for college students people with w2 jobs or those who make under 6 figures if this applies to you consider a physical bank capital one chase or a credit union
