I've loved banking through SoFi during the last couple of years. The only recommendation I have for them is to enhance their account notifications to allow for balance emails once the balance gets to a user defined amount. Personal loan process is quick and easy, and absolutely no issues paying it off well in advance.

I had been seeing SoFi on my Credit Karma app for 6 months before I decided to apply. This was the easiest debt consolidation loan application I have ever done. Within 12 hours I was approved, the balance of the consolidation loan was in my checking account and within 3 days the debt I wanted to consolidate was paid! The greatest part was the interest rate I received was lowest rate I have had on anything. I was very nervous about the online aspect but turned out to be a great decision!

It would be nice to have some type of receipt or whatever you’re willing to provide, but instead nothing?? it would be nice if you would communicate with something showing the loan was paid in full or the amount specified to pay the loan.

So far my experience has been great since I started. I was a little worried about the APY not changing in my account even though I had direct deposit. I used the customer support chat and Jay from SoFi was very friendly. Fast and efficient. It was clear instructions and directions and so far I really enjoy the bank. It's been some adjusting to not being able to deposit cash but honestly, for the most part this works great for me and I absolutely love the vaults! It's my favorite part, I can separate savings and they automatically get the interest! I really enjoy this bank. So far, no qualms! Thank you very much once again!

The experience was a bit rocky. I had to call Sofi several times just to follow up and move the process along. There was a lot of fumbling with my VOE. It was not sent. I called to report it wasn’t sent. I was told it would be sent by the end of the day and it wasn’t. I had to follow up again. This back and forth delayed my loan and I had to make a large loan payment I was trying to refinance. It was inconvenient and unnecessary. It could have been avoided had there been better follow up on Sofis side. I’m hoping my experience will improve

This is my first loan experience, I didn’t know anything about this company, for years, I have Citibank and Chase credit card and the countless offers for loans I received you would think it would be a smooth transaction but no, I got denied for allegedly income couldn’t be verified, and while I was on credit karma app checking my credit score. I saw the loan section so I thought, well.I have nothing to lose as the offer was if you don’t get the loan you get 50 bucks and why not.. the rest is history. Loan was approve and funded less than a week, Excellent company without a doubt.
