I called Rocket Mortgage at the end of January to inquire about current interest rates and if refinancing my current mortgage made good financial sense for us. I spoke with Max and he was very knowledgeable, kind and responsive. He was accessible at all times and answered every question throughly (some times a couple of times lol). Max and Rocket Mortgage got my refinance closed by February 10th with a much lower interest rate than with my previous lender. WOW!! I will certainly recommend Rocket Mortgage and Max to my family and friends !

Getting so many e-mails was very confusing, especially the emails about closing. Also, trying to close on line was next to impossible. We tried several times and could only get so far. We talked to technicians and they could not help us through the process. Someone came out to the house, which we could have just done in the first place. we lost a day and our frustration level was through the roof.

I thought that when I refi'd with Chase that Chase was going to pay off One Main Financial. It is still not pain for as of today. I'm really upset due to the thought the extra money I was getting was for me personally and the renovations to the house. I'm at a loss.

A stellar recommendation with one caveat
Mason Blankenship was a great rep of Rocket. He was knowledgeable and always responsive. My one and only complaint was that I was lead to believe my loan would close earlier than it did and I had perfect credit and no issues. It didn't close until a mth later, which caused some issues on my end bcz I kept thinking it was going to close momentarily; therefore I based my life around that. This caused anxiety too. It kept getting pushed back a week for no apparent reason. So be prepared to close later than you are told. Otherwise, everyone was pleasant and professional to work with. I'd do it again and recommend them.
