In the beginning it was moving quickly and Jacob was very helpful. Ask multiple times for a receipt that was already included to be paid in the closing. This added an extra week before the closing could be scheduled.

Our Rocket Rep, David Muniz was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. The loan process was very quick and smooth. Our online closing agent/notary was also very courteous and professional. Rocket reminder messages and website are great to receive and the website is quite nice.

Overpaid on homeowner's insurance at closing...waiting for insurance company to refund. Overpaid previous mortgage company at closing...waiting for mortgage company to refund. Why? Because the closing team was too lazy to re-create a new closing statement that after we provided proof that another mortgage payment was made and the declaration page from the insurance company that it was paid in full. 15 minutes of change, 1 hour review for accuracy. But instead we either close as-is or risk a rate expiration for them to make these simple changes.

I choose Rocket Mortgage over the perks offered to employees at my big bank employer. My mortgage experience went so well that I thought something had to be wrong or would surface at closing. But i found out that the team i worked with addressed all conditions up front. No mountain of documentation was required. My loan was ready for closing in less than 30 days. The loan was to payoff other loans and for medical needs. The payoff amounts were completely wrong. It took so long tp get the checks that we had to make another month's payments on them and the interest.
