Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgable, and went the 'extra mile' to make sure I understood everything...then taking time to patiently explain the proceedings when I had questions. Above all, each and every person I dealt with had a 'sense of humor'... which put me at ease and made me feel comfortable dealing with such an important issue (as finance). That made the whole process more pleasant for me since it was an important issue.

I first reached out to Rocket Mortgage several years ago when the economy tanked and none of the traditional banks were willing to help. Rocket Mortgage stepped in, refinanced our home, and made it possible for us to stay in our house during a really difficult time. Fast-forward to today—our home is now paid off, and as business owners we needed working capital to move confidently into 2026. Once again, our financial institution wouldn’t help, so I turned back to Rocket Mortgage. From the moment I submitted my information online to the day we closed, the entire process took just three weeks. Their team was efficient, professional, and truly supportive. I’m grateful for their reliability and highly recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone looking for a lender that actually shows up when you need them most.

Everything was great until the closing
Everything was great until the closing. I was told in writing that our mortgage payment would not be deducted in December bc the closing would be on the 1st which is the day our account is usually drafted. I specifically asked about this. When it came out anyway, I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would need to call my bank and stop payment which would cost me a fee. It was very frustrating.

The employees we worked with for these months were knowledgeable & pleasant. However, the paperwork involved, asking for the same thing more than once or twice started to wear on us. Almost to the point of cancelling. I used the app for uploads & once a doc is uploaded you'd expect to hear back within a couple days since you never know if someone is actually looking at it right away or not. A week would go by & they'd ask for the same item. This was annoying. So extra weeks of delays scattered here and there were unnecessary and very aggravating. I've used Rocket over a decade ago and never had this issue. Maybe it's a staffing or qualified staffing problem.
