I choose Rocket Mortgage over the perks offered to employees at my big bank employer. My mortgage experience went so well that I thought something had to be wrong or would surface at closing. Together but not equal...
When rocket mortgage called, they called only my husband. When we received emails or text messages, they would not be the same information; he would get technical information about the loan, I would get messages to sign or input documents only. We received checks to pay off debt. Mortgage is in my AND my husbands names. Debt was clearly labeled EITHER mine or his...but only his name was on the checks. He is not on my loans or my credit cards. It was sexist and insulting.

It would have been easier if the options were listed/written out and given time to decide. But in a fast-paced process, I think there would have been a better option for my needs.
