A Huge Unexpected Cost at Closing
The title company found that the amount of closing cost was more than what Rocket Mortgage stated. I ended up paying over $3,200 to be able to close. This was very unexpected and a big huge amount taken from my savings that I had saved for other bills. This will put me in a bind later. I was very disappointed when my agent at Rocket misquoted my closing cost.

The experience was easy, the professionals answered all our questions. It took no time at all. I learned a lot about the process. My only improvement would be that if you are consolidating other bills, instead of waiting for a check that they could send the payment to your creditors electronically, that would be awesome. Misinformed and Poor Communication
Communication was not great. It was difficult to get anyone to answer phone calls. We were informed of our mortgage cash to close information incorrectly 3 different times so when we got to closing, we received $10,000 less than what was explained to us. I wouldn't use this company again.

This was for HELO. First my FICO score was hit twice by Rocket Mortgage that kick my score down 6 points. The appraisal was obvious that they took the comps for an area 2 miles away with matching square footage & year. We just remodeled our who home beginning with bare walls & concrete floor. We took a low bearing wall down to open the kitchen and living area with an island. The point is I had other contractor and people who said my house in their neighborhood would go for over #300K. My first closing date was not met due to their delays. It cost me I was told higher interest rate due going past the due date. I did the leg work for the title company for the previous paid mortgage loan with a letter from them indicating that the lien was paid and clear. That was not good enough until I took the documents and recorded them at the court house in both counties involved. I just read an email they are offering $20K with no Credit impact to your score. So overall I feel I did not get the service or representation that professionally I should have. The only reason not going with my 1st Mortgage Co., I didn't want to borrow as much as the minimum limit. I would appreciate if they could show some consideration due to all the hassle and frustration on my part.
