Perfect until the closing team got to it
Everything was great up until the closers got the package together. The agent did a great job working with me and my situation. And I believe he tried to help when the closing team kept making mistakes. My situation might have been different than what they are used to but the customer service should have been the same regardless. Don't have me sign disclosures that are wrong, upload credit card payoffs, just to use the original information and then just tell me to wait for the creditors to refund me thousands of dollars. Oh and a few payoffs were interest free debt. Very upsetting when someone does not do their job at the end and I am penalized financially for their incompetence or laziness, not sure which.

Fast and easy process to get my loan, but two things I didn't like. They used credit bureau balances for payoff amounts of creditors rather than accepting the real balances I gave them, causing me to overpay all accounts and one account by $600. The rate was not that great.

Wow!!! My experience with Rocket Mortgage was simply AMAZING! My initial contact with the mortgage specialist, Nolan Yeiter, began on October 17th. I closed on November 6th. Nolan was knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions. Then on top of that, the Rocket Mortgage App was Astounding . The App was user friendly and informative. It kept you on track with each step of the loan application process. Kudos to Rocket Mortgage and their staff.

It was fast, easy at first.The person contacting us was helpful and offered good advice.I told her upfront that I really didn’t have funds to pay any money up front other than for the $400 filing fee and was pretty much assured all fees would be added onto end of loan .As the process went on the person was harder to contact even after online messages and calls to her number provided asking for call back . After reviewing all the documents it stated I needed almost $1200 at closing . Went online to clarify and finally got a hold of someone who told me that all I really needed was $ 109 . and when the first month was due and transferred me to the persons phone line I’d been dealing with to verify closing date . Again left a message . No response for several days . I realize that there are variables in any loan process but when you tell them up front what you can and can’t do and they do a precheck and tell you there should not be a problem at all and then essentially ignore you when you question up front amount from documents until closing time . You either come up with up front money or loose the filing and appraisal fees . The person who came to the house to do the closing was EXCELLENT. Friendly fast and efficient . Other than the problem stated above was a very good experience . .
