The application process was great - Aaron was super and helped me every step of the way. I was disapointed in the lack of coordination between my bridge loan closing and my purchase closing as the two did not talk to each other even though they were both handled by Rocket.

We had a magnificent loan officer named Tavari Williams. Tavari was present every step of the way. He communicated well with us about everything that was taking place, and what stages we were in as they were happening. Additionally, Tavari would always let us know what was needed and what to expect. But most importantly, if we had any questions or concerns he was always there to answer, and if not available at that particular time he would always return the phone call. Tavari is excellent at what he does and I am so appreciative for his dedication in securing our success at obtaining the refinance.

Your organization of process and professional teammate support was outstanding! The only item keeping this experience from 5 stars is that the payoffs for our lenders came to us as checks and we feel should’ve been handled as electronic payment. We should not have to mail these out and delay account effects. Mail sucks as we are all aware.

At the beginning, as I stated to Tyler we wanted to pay the cards ourselves. Tyler insisted Rocket Mortgage pay them and I agreed. What Tyler didn't tell me was we would receive checks to send ourselves. If we had known that we would not have done it that way. We could have already paid the cards off over a week ago. Now we have one card that has grown larger in the balance because it has not received the payment. I mailed the checks as soon as we received them. When we received the checks, I thought we would have to sign for them. The delivery driver placed them on our porch, without asking for a signature. As of today 5 of the 6 accounts have not paid the balance off. As I stated if we had known up front this was how you were sending checks, we would have gone another route.

The process as a whole was simpler than I expected, although one thing I didn't care for was the fact that every week or so throughout the process, I was dealing with a different person. As soon as I became comfortable talking to one representative, a new individual "introduced" themselves as the person handling my loan. In an age where there is A LOT of identity theft and people, or companies portraying somebody honest, when they are not, it is already difficult to trust somebody, especially when you're getting ready to commit to a home loan and spending a lot of money. I really felt odd giving a rating, just after getting my loan turned over to somebody else, to give that person a rating as well. I am in the service industry and when a salesman sells an account, generally their job is done and I, as the tech specialist, am the person who represents my company. Rocket seems to have too many people with their "hand in the cookie jar"

I’m had to mark this down a bit… this…
I’m had to mark this down a bit… this refi process has taken two months to accomplish, and I have No idea why.. we provided all the requested documents within 1day of the request, so it sure wasn’t on our end. Also, and the most odd thing, Rocket sent us paper checks, made out to our creditors, to pay off those accounts. This means I had to search for a postal address to send these payments in, and prepare 7 envelopes(with stamps) and print out statements from home to include with the paper checks from Rocket. It was a week after closing that we received the paper checks at our home, and I got them sent off the next day. Now it will be up to 21 days, Rocket tells me, until those payments are processed in with my creditors. Make this make sense!! Why not just do an EFT direct to the creditor, to pay those accounts off, and save so much time and expense(overnight the checks to me with UPS, my stamps, envelopes, and time)? I am at a loss with this.

The closing was straight forward. The only hitch occurred when a closing was scheduled on a Saturday and a notary could not be found. Rocket Mortgage did not notify us until I called an hour after the scheduled meeting. But once I did call they quickly rescheduled the appointment the following day. Since it was a Sunday, I think that was exceptional.
