All was great Kory My agent was very professional with keeped me updating when the right time to lock in the rate. But a Big BUT it got very ugly very dissapointed in the end with my wife income verification everthing was proven they delayed closing almost making us loss locked in rate and coming to me they will extend 15 days with a cost to me when it was the failure on behalh of Rocket Mortage putting us though this ordeal was unacceptable :(

I liked the initial treatment and professionalism, the ease of communication and updates from the app, but at the backend of the process, the unprofessional treatment and lack of (very noticeable) genuine interest, left a lot to be desired. For example, I called and left a message because I had a pre-closing question, but never got a callback.

In the past I have always had great experince with Rocket Mortgage. Recently I used them for a second mortgage. The whole process was long, requiring more and more documents. Talking to several different people everytime. Also they are located on east coast, had I known that would have chosen someone local. They sent the checks to me- over 65,000 with no requirement for signing- just left at my doorstep. One of the checks was made out incorrectly to the payee. Representatives, were not professional and I had little faith in their ability

In the past, taking on a refi was daunting at best and a nightmare at the worst. But Kyle worked with me to setup the application that guaranteed success. Officers were very responsive. Unpleasant experience with appraisal and pay off process. The appraiser listed an incorrect square footage on the house. To remedy, we would have to pay for another appraisal. Even though I provided the original house plans and tax documents from my county. Instead of making it easy for customers, you have to jump through hoops. I provided accurate pay off balances and that was an issue too. I’d rather pay less than pay more and then have to wait for the banks to pay me my money back. Rate could be lower. I wanted to work with Rocket Mortgage because my mortgage is here. The entire process could be streamlined.

Lack communication at some points. We also received $17k from the sellers at closing and only part of it was listed on the closing disclosure. If I didn’t ask about it and gave the disclosure updated I’m assuming we would not have gotten the full $17k.

Our loan process was smooth. However, we felt like it took weeks and was redundant since we have been homeowners for so many years, never missing a payment and paying more than required. Our credit score shows our credibility. The closing agent was inexperienced and failed to provide all the forms needed. We had to meet with her the next day to complete the signing.
