Like so many of you, I did a ton of research before actually applying or giving anytime to Lendio. Between Trustpilot and Reddit reviews, I see a ton of good, and then some that are alarmingly bad. I decided that I would still give them a chance and see what was available for the sake of things. I know patience for the best loan available is what will make this better for you, instead of jumping on the first Lender that approves you. Give it some time, and rest assured that you'll get the money you need- but make sure its from the right person!!! From application start to funding received, the entire process for me only took 1 week (5 business days in total). My rep Vincent Sciarratta made the entire process pain free and easy. The hardest part was of the process was the Lendio site itself (getting all the right information uploaded). I can only speak on my experience with my rep Vincent, but once you get assigned to someone its completely effortless and you are just saying yes or no. I have never borrowed money before and researched beforehand what the rates were going to be looking like for my specific business. The APY will change based on your business credentials and personal credit score, so everyone's will be different. I was assuming I would only be able to get a maximum borrow amount of 50k, but after going through multiple outlets Vincent found a company willing to go all the way up to 150k based on my companies monthly sales. This felt really good knowing that if I needed more funds available to me, I would be afforded that. However, the best and most important part of the entire process for me was getting the length of term I wanted. I have seen tons of 3 and 6 month loans available where I would have had the same amount of money, and owed the same amount at the end of repayment- BUT the payments would have been extremely high and hurt my business down the line. I was not interested in this, and let Vincent know from the get go I was only interested in hearing offers at a 24 month term. One of the companies who I wanted to go with originally (because the APY% was most favorable) only offered a 12 month term up front. After day's of not finding the right loan for me, Vincent was finally able to reach out with that firm, and get me the 24 month term I wanted AT the same rate, making my weekly payments low and easy to maintain for my business. So, I would definitely recommend if you have had a bad experience with a specific Lendio representative, I would try giving Vincent a call and having him work for you, he's a legend. Also remember to give the process some patience so you get yourself the deal that you want. Lastly, Thank you Vincent for all of your help and getting my deal done. I appreciate your effort!

The speed in which offers were gathered and presented were great! Some of the explanation of early offers weren't exactly ad expected for me. Less favorable offers were presented early so I did start with a bd taste. As other more favorable offers came in, I was almost not willing to listen but my account rep did a good job in getting me back engaged.

There aren't words to explain how grateful I am for all that Desiree did to help me. The process of obtaining my SBA loan started 6-months prior. I was unfamiliar with what would be required and after we were unsuccessful the first time she did not stop takliung my calls. She told me exactly what I would need to do and that i could try back. 3 months later I did and the result was the same. 3 months later, I tried again. Most people would not take the time to have a 3rd go around with it. This time, the right things were in place. Through the underwriting process, a number of things came up. It seemed like with each hurdle I crossed, another one came about. This was not her fault; these were things that I had not handled years prior. Through all of the challenges, she continued to communicate with me daily, and you could tell that she sincerely cared. For that reason, I could not have been happier with the entire process. She should be commended for the amazing job that she did.

Anyone who has applied for an SBA product knows the process is complicated, cumbersome and overwhelming. Each application is no doubt different so unfortunately the SBA may not always know what documentation will be required upfront. The initial required documentation changes almost daily and when you've a small business to run the time cost of pursuing the required docs can be immense, especially if the docs pertain to the IRS. However, when you have a partner like LENDIO and in particular a patient and methodical agent Desiree Escalante working with you to get you the approval you're looking for, it makes the process surmountable - Without the assistance of Desiree, there's very little chance I would have achieved the outcome I was looking for - far from just telling me what docs I need, Desiree was empathetic and methodical in making sure we got the required documents but also a listening ear to the frustration associated with difficult applications. I know she is not paid to listen to clients whining about what's needed to complete an application but she did it so gracefully anyway. I am extremely thankful to her and the team Jarrad Cohen for making this possible. Because they seem to be the go-between for you the applicant, and the SBA, I have no doubt they become the fall guy to many frustrated applicants outbursts so I thank them sincerely for the work they do and taking it all in their stride as just part of a days work.
