Every bank should take lessons from PNC! This bank is unbelievably secure. They check with me if there are too many transactions to see if it was my purchases, they have card lock at a touch, so that there are no unknown transactions, a feature I love, no surprises as I have had at other banks! If my card gets lost all I have to do is go to my local branch office and a new card is produced on site, no week to 10 days waiting for another debit card, who could ask for anything more!!!!

I’ve been using PNC as my primary bank for a long time and overall it has been extremely reliable. The mobile app is easy to use, deposits post quickly, and I’ve never had issues accessing my money when I need it. What I appreciate most is that things just work — transfers, bill pay, mobile deposits, and debit card controls are all straightforward and dependable. When I’ve needed customer support, they’ve been professional and helpful, which matters a lot when it comes to something as important as your finances. No bank is perfect, but compared to other banks I’ve used in the past, PNC has been consistent and stress-free. It’s the kind of bank you don’t have to think about because it does what it’s supposed to do. I would absolutely recommend PNC to anyone looking for a dependable everyday bank.
The phone wait time is ridiculous and unacceptable. I was unable to send money to an external bank and needed to know why the transaction was not verified. I spent a long time on hold, and the system never provided an estimated wait time—only repeated that the “next available consultant will be with you.” After waiting so long with no information, I was forced to hang up. This level of customer service is extremely frustrating and inefficient.
Banker Mr Erick Jacquez of the Hebron Branch of Carrollton Texas provided service above and beyond to me while opening my account. I made an appointment over the phone with him. I did not leave the office until I had a complete and full understanding of the process and the policies for opening an account. I was impressed that Mr Erick anticipated the questions that I was going to ask regarding PNC Bank before I even asked. He did not rush me. He went out of his way to make me feel at ease. He definitely has a passion for what he does. And very helpful in helping me to find the plan that would suit my financial needs. PNC Plano tx is by far an exception to all banking establishments I have experienced ever, Ashley is one of the professional associates that greets me when I am making any transaction, with such a positive attitude and beautiful smile, her customer satisfaction is #1 everytime I have entered the PNC Plano tx branch. As the entire staff is aimed towards customer satisfaction. Thank you for treating me and my account important.
I'm very upset with this banking, from day one I specifically opened the account to rent a vehicle from Hertz Uber rental, upon arriving my card was declined twice went through wasting money for cabs two days in a row back and forth 90 dollars because the bank kept declining my transaction I called they said my card was ready to use but the rental can only swipe twice and you'll have to wait 24 hours to swipe there again so I come back the 2nd day which I had to wait until that Monday and again it declined after talking to fraud department going through transactions getting it all verified again declined while the lady assured me it would work. I've wasted 180 total in can gates due to this negligence. So who is answering to this.
Good bank overall, but the verification process is really annoying. Instead of sending a simple text code, they have to call you — and before giving the code, they read a long disclaimer, a phone number, and THEN the code. It would really help if we could get the code as soon as PNC calls so there’s no wasted time.
