Credit building friendly
I have had a great experience with chime so far. I love there credit building option my credit score has gone up since opening an account with them. I also like the option to round up the cents to put in my savings. Only downside is I can’t use Zelle with it. Also love getting paid two days early.

Chime has helped me out a lot of times with Spot me and my pay,my spot me is up to $115 dollars and my pay is up to $500 only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I’ve noticed that with my pay they used to give you say out $500 they would give you half that and then the increment kept getting smaller and smaller to where now out of $500 and now the give me $36 dollars a day out of $500 plus charge me $2 dollars every time I need to use it 36 dollars doesn’t go along way now days and chime got me $80 dollars in $2 dollar fees last week and only reason I’m having to use my pay is my hand was crushed at work and now I’m on workman’s comp and barely getting by.

Only if l would have joined Chime earlier,l would have avoided at least $1000.00 or more in overdraft charges just in the last three month's,l currently lost my job,and already used my pay,well I'm here to tell you that they have not bothered me about the money in any manner what so ever,which l am under a lot of stress in which anyone who has been in this position understands,and mind you that I'm rather new to Chime,then l open my Chime App and l seen that they were offering to do Chime members taxes for FREE,which was perfect for me so l could pay them back what l owed,using Chime as my direct deposit for my refund,l pay them back,and still have a little money to get me by until l find employment,and continue on doing business with them who go not one mile,but a thousand to help people like me.

Chime has been my main banking source for over four years. Setting up direct deposit was easy and it’s cool they arrive a few days early. The Credit Builder feature has been pretty helpful and was able to secure a metal card which is awesome! Pro-tip: use the Credit Builder card on a night out on the town, leave all others at home in case you misplace your stuff - just be sure you don’t have spot me on this card ;) in case your card does get stolen and someone goes on a bodega spree around your neighborhood, Chime will have your back <3

I can't say enough good things about Chime! I work very hard but am on a tight budget. When unexpected bills or other financial issues arise, I am glad to know I have Chime that will loan me a portion of my paycheck if needed without charging outrageous fees. There have been weeks I would have had to wait until payday to buy groceries if not for MyPay. My paycheck comes in 2 days early. My credit score has gone up since opening a credit builder account. The app is very convenient and easy to use as well. I can't recommend Chime enough!

Chime is by a wide margin the best online banking solution I have experienced. I've been with MetaBank, Cash App, and others over the years, and signed up for Chime as a backup when having issues with my other banking app/card. And it took all of a week to realize my luck in getting a Chime account, to which I immediately moved my direct deposit and have been delighted ever since, coming up on the one year anniversary.

My overall experience with Chime has been a 5/5. I haven’t had any issues over the 4 years I’ve been a member. My only concern has been recently with my pay. I love the idea of getting what’s basically a loan before payday. I pay mines back in time and with my income it rarely affects me. I mean I did borrow it so I’m due to pay it back. Most recently my hours at my current employed decline to due health reasons and as soon as I was paid the my pay was deducted, leaving me having to scramble to find a way to pay bills. I wanted to make a suggestion to Chime that instead of automatically taking $300-$400 from someone’s paycheck, that a valuable customer has the opportunity to pay it back over time. It was large amount this time because of my income decrease. I suffer from seasonal depression and was unable to get out of bed to go to work. I hope this is taken into consideration, I enjoy using Chime and have loved to watch the company grow over the years. Also, it’s time for a new incentive. Almost everyone has chime or has used chime so it’s difficult to find a new referral to get the $100 referrals a friend deal. Let’s try a new challenge. :)

Chime looks out for their customers..
I like how chime put your check in your credit builder and then you can move the money around when you need to use it and it can be done immediately you don't have to wait and chime doesn't charge a whole bunch of fees like the bank does and I like how I can go to PLS and add money to my chime card if need be and I also like the pay me feature where if I need money ASAP I can get it even though it charges me a $2 fee it comes out when you get paid. Chime is way better than Greendot, Greendot paid some company to take money from my account it took 6 months to get it back. That was 2 years ago I've been with chime every since.

Chime is great! Getting paid 2 days in advance is great. I also love "My Pay" which allows me to get money in advance of my direct deposit. The only problem is that you cannot take out the whole allowed amount. The amount you take should be up to the allowed amount. Otherwise, it's the perfect banking app!!

I absolutely love Chime. I have been with Chime for 6 years and although I do have an actual account with a bank as well, Chime has been the most reliable when it comes to my paycheck. Yes, there have been a few hang ups but Chime has the best bounce back. Chime has many great features to take advantage of such as My Pay and Spot Me. These are for emergencies and I can attest to being helped out of a bind a few times. Chime has absolutely NO OVERDRAFT FEES!!! NONE!!! Chime also has a great social media presence and they engage with their members. I love Chime!

I like the chime card, but am very unhappy about there pay schedule! Every month it comes on a different day! It is impossible to plan due to this fact! They say they pay early, and they do, but never on the same day! Very irritating and frustrating! I am thinking about canceling do to this fact. When I call it is like a robot repeating the same speech! Poor customer service.

I love chime I get paid early being in SSI I love that.. but I have an issue with my pay I was up to 280 in my pay I normally get paid around the 25th but when there is a holiday if it's on a Friday and there is a holiday the week of getting my SSI it's always the following Monday I GET DIRECT DEPOSIT every month. Well this time they took 280 plus the instant fees plus spot me which was over 300 total they took that but said I had 144 in my pay which I desperately needed to finish paying my bills well next day got up they took that too and started me at 20 total to say I'm pissed is beyond belief so now I don't even have money to pay stuff I have to pay. Things are getting shut off after rent I have nothing left. Thank you chime for screwing me over.

My Pay needs revamping
I have used Chime for years and although I like it. I would love it if the Mypay borrow system were re-vamped. When I borrow the $500 it’s taken back immediately when I’m paid and sometimes lots of fees as well. I feel like I should be able to borrow the entire sum back immediately.

I dislike fact that chime takes out credit builder fees outta your paycheck that you work hard for. While on other hand it is free but not so much so. But it is wonderful app to use for emergency or employment or SSDI. Overall it is not great but it's good app I've used it over 10+ years now it used to be free until credit builder chime started taking out fees
