Communication is key when dealing with someone over the phone and I was very impressed with how comfortable and relaxed I felt when speaking with your representative. He was very confident, organized, and friendly. It was more like having a conversation with a buddy, then speaking with a loan officer. The employee I spoke with was very nice, but only somewhat informative. I was refinancing my car, but was never offered an opportunity to put money down to lower my payment and possibly receive a lower interest rate. The employee only gave me one option of a longer payoff time to keep my payment down. I would have preferred an option to put money down to shorten my purchase time and have a lower payment, but was not given. In the past when I refinanced a vehicle I was always given this option. For this reason I will probably not use Caribou again.

they found me the best refi solution…
they found me the best refi solution and was relentlessly following up daily. while others might find it annoying, i really needed it to remind myself that i have to refinance so i never stopped them. i finally finished my refinance with them because the process was smooth and they followed up constantly, making communication effortless. the only thing i dont like is that their website does not have option to confirm my web privacy choice to only performance ones so now my info is out there in the loan marketing ad world :(

Pretty good, you pay $700 for their service. Once approved, if you need to make a change, Example, you switch vehicle choice after approval of financing, it is very difficult. My dealer called the finance company direct and took care of it. Could have saved my $700.

I used Caribou once before, and the person I dealt with was superior this time the people I dealt with had a hurried, and it seemed like excited conversations with me. I got everything taken care of. I have been funded but now I have some questions and this week. I have called a few times and left a message for my rep at Caribou and no call back. The times I’ve called the people I’ve spoke with again were hurried to move me along in a what I would describe as excited conversations.
