Good to have but don't like the waiting for a referral
The phone number to call I believe has a chatbot to field questions about starting a claim, which I do not like at all because I couldn't really explain the situation when asked what the issues were. They did however start trying to obtain a company to help out with my basement drain clog issue, but after 2-3 days of waiting, not hearing anything and my basement starting to get more water spreading, I was finally offered to hire my own company and be reimbursed. The problem I have with that is not all companies are willing to have to send an email into Choice for "pre-authorization" before the work is even started, it could be an emergency and work needs to be addressed immediately, I had to pay up-front and have to wait up to 30 days for reimbursement (if approved) so meanwhile am out of that money making it financially difficult for me to wait that long. The email communication from Choice was good however.

I researched Choice Home Warranty and found them to be one of the top five warranty companies. I choose them because they had the best payment plan that fitted our budget. ///the customer servisce representative was professional and answered all of my questions. The only issue I had was I felt a bit of pressure to make a decision right then and there. I wanted to talk things over with my wife before making a decision.

They were very helpful during our a/c break down. They had someone that was able to come out in a couple of days. However, a friend came over and put a part in not promising how long it would last. The repair was completed satisfactorily, however, it cost me an additional $570 because the warranty company "Choice" only covered a part of the repair. I got an e-mail stating the damaged garage door (broken spring) was not caused by normal wear and tear and therefore coverage was denied. A broken spring was the only damage to the door, I'm at a loss as to how that in not due to normal daily usage. Consequently I think your decision to deny the claim is wholly inappropriate and I am requesting you re examine the claim and "do the right thing".
