I came to Lemonade actually thinking it was a scam. I was skeptical and I came into this insurance fully prepared to be dealing with multiple problems and while Lemonade as a whole doesn't do me much good as we do not have the car insurance in my state yet, just focusing on the pet insurance well .... I LOVE it! I was searching for a insurance for weeks when I stumbled onto this little gem and was mind blown with how great it was when I started actually putting it to use. I had gotten my puppy the puppy pack, add ons, I mean the whole 9 yards and I'm only paying $109 a month! I have had to make a claim 3x. The process was super easy literally took 5mins tops. It's a real organized process and fast process. I like that not only do you upload pictures, but you also do a video or voice recording which gives you the chance to personally tell what happened. The 1st claim was a big emergency room visit (Albuterol poison from an inhaler) and I had a decent amount given back within 10 days tops and that's with the deductible paid off (which is only $500 super cheap!). The 2cd/3rd claims were from the same visit, but since I got the puppy pack and they cover certain things like shots, annual check ups, etc. I got the shot back as soon as I submitted it, which blew my mind yet again and I'm still waiting on the 3rd, but it is already being reviewed and It hasn't even been 10days. I don't wanna sound like a infomercial, but I legit have had no problems with this insurance whatsoever. Everything has been super easy, the coverage is amazing, the price is affordable especially for everything you get with it, the wait times for all the perks of the insurance to kick in are pretty much non existent and i would and have recommended this insurance to multiple people already. My dog is my child, I love her more than anything and I couldn't have gotten a better, more inclusive, stress free insurance.

Super happy with our policy through Lemonade. We got it for our boy when he was 9 and thankfully didn’t have to use it much. This year, however, he has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and has needed X-rays, blood tests, CT scans, radiation and infusions and Lemonade has been extremely prompt in reviewing and reimbursing his claims, some within minutes of submission. We wouldn’t be able to give our special boy the best treatment without our policy with Lemonade. Thank you!

This is the best insurance company! Very low prices and fast claims. I'm very happy and satisfied with Lemonade. I found them on Facebook and then I found out several people I know have them as insurance, too. I bundled my vehicle and my dog and with great coverage coverage (that you customize to fit your needs and budget) I still came out $60 cheaper a month than my last insurance company that was only for my vehicle!

Once you speak to a real person (the initial claim process, while quick, is run by ai) the process is very simple and the person working on my claim was very respectful. The ai requests a lot of y/n answers and gives multiple choice for questions- doesn't leave a place to provide detail. Really rather have spoken to a real person right upon filing- would have been quicker/less confusing. Also the ai does not allow you to upload damage pics from your phone, only to take them immediately upon filing the claim. You can ask to email pictures later on if you send a 'question/request to your advocate' (the option will either pop up or be fairly easy to find when you review the claim) with a note stating you have the pictures. Wanted to give 3.5 for the ai alone, but overall the real person I spoke to was wonderful and explained everything about the policy while also guiding me to ensure I filed my claim correctly under that policy.

The customer services was great but watch out for the fine print - What they do when you have a claim on your homeowners insurance is tell you the replacement value and the depreciated value of whatever was damaged. Then they send you the DIFFERENCE between those two amounts. You have to come out of pocket to pay for the rest and then you get reimbursed. For example: Someone drove through my front yard and tore out my fence (which was about 10 years old). They say: Replacement Value: $4000 Depreciated Value: $3800 Money they send up front: $200 Assuming the fence actually does cost $4k to repair, I have to come out of pocket for the $3.8k then do a request to get that back from Lemonade... This is a total scam - who has an extra $3.8k sitting around, thats what the insurance is supposed to be for!
