Everyone I interacted with with professional and helpful. They were especially good at understanding how retirement income / asset management strategies vary from traditional wage-earner income sources … particularly as it pertains to debt-to-income ratios. One area of frustration was that 1099R forms had to be in a box format while some providers (e.g., Northwestern Mutual) does not use that particular format. While the alternative format is an approved approach and shared with the IRS, it was difficult for underwriters to understand the difference. But that aside, the experience was very good

Process was very easy and fast, approval was less than an hour, and funds were distributed in 2 days. Rates are fair considering how fast the loan process is, but depending on the amount of money you want to borrow, there is a considerably high charge/fee for the loan itself. Example: an $8000-$10,000 loan has over $500 service charge. That could be a strong deterrent.
