Having heard some nightmare stories about FAFSA from others, I was expecting a stressful and challenging experience. It was anything but. We were told what to prepare ahead of time, and our actual appointment was less than 30 minutes to complete. Our advisor was so friendly and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. Everything about the appointment was simple and streamlined. I highly recommend using this service.
Customer service was excellent and I was always able to get ahold of someone quickly when I had a question. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to refinance a student loan.

These are my first children to go to college so I didn't know much about the process coming out of high school. it took several months to get beyond the autoresponses saying we needed to provide more documents when the issue was that you kept asking for monthly statements yet these loans were still in deferment so there were no billing statements.. uggh.. was painful

Refinancing these student loans was painless. Simple process. All necessary documentation was easily submitted online and all legal forms were also able to be signed via computer. The process was quick.

Any time I've talked to someone to help me with items that a college may ask for, I receive great information. If I call and leave a message I always get a call back. I think it's great that our state offers free help with Fafsa!! It's stressful enough going through everything else that needs to be done for college preparation.

I applied to refinance my student loans, originally I was denied, however I reached out to customer service and then helped me figure the additional information needed to get approved.
They were very fast and receptive to my requests and questions! I am happy that I was able to lower my interest rate on my private loans. They gave me the lowest rate out of the 7 quotes I received. I am very excited to work with them to pay off my debt!

We started researching RISLA a couple of years ago as we looked to refinance for our daughter. She was stuck in other loans at a double-digit percentage that was complicated by the fact that she never graduated. They gave us assistance on many occasions, eventually helping us secure the loan after a couple of rejections. The process was smooth and the check was mailed 2 days ago. Plus we're saving over 5% on the interest rate. We probably won't be in this situation again but I would definitely recommend applying to RISLA.
I've been having trouble with my FAFSA and after calling and speaking with someone they resolved the issue and now I'm back on track.
