To better clarify my 4-star review, I'll split it into two reviews... Savings: 5/5. Their rates are competitive, website and app are okay, and (this is the big one) they periodically offer bonuses to deposit money into your existing savings account. Highly recommend. Credit Card (GM specifically): 3/5. The rewards rate is good, but this is a review of GS specifically. I had the card when it was with Capital One and the transition was a bit painful. I STILL get paper statements and bill payment notifications despite turning on electronic communications multiple times and messaging with customer service. It isn't a huge deal by itself, but it is annoying and seemingly impossible to stop.

Idk why I’m seeing such poor reviews of Marcus. I personally love Marcus because it has a very very high APY% for its savings account. I have many savings accounts and this is the one that always increases first. Definitely worth it if you want to use it as a savings account.

The website and app looks nice
The website and app looks nice, but one would think with their name, it would over a better Interest Rate and APY than it does compared to other banks. For instance, Newtek Bank, Primis Bank and even Lending Club offers a much better interest rate than Macrus by Goldman Sachs does. With such a trusted name, gives so little to the people who save money with them .

No Customer Service
They give a pretty good rate of return, but their customer service is virtually non-existent. I asked to speak to someone about a problem with the online history of my account, and their robot said someone would call me, but that was the end of it. You can interact with their website, or talk to a robot. That's it.

Extremely quick, efficient & positive experience
After many long hours of researching and reviewing several loan consolidation platforms, Marcus was our second runner up & won’t mention the first since we were turned down in less then a minute. After typing in my personal information and submit, the process was quick and efficient. Marcus made us feel like human beings & not just a “number”. Extremely happy to get our finance’s back on track with this loan. Look no further there the best at what they do and have to offer

I'm actually the type of person who doesn't leave a review (good or bad) because I don't have the time, but I'm really anxious to leave this review about my experience with this company. I applied on 06/ 25/22 and was approved (12.00 USD), I was emailed saying the card would arrive in 2-3 business days, I waited 2 weeks and called to see what was up with my card, these people I spoke to , were rude and she specifically told me that the card will not be sent. why did you approved me if you are not sending me card?? She wasn't professional about her work and she was very mean ..today is July 23rd and I'm still waiting to receive this clown card .... I'm not happy Updates: I chatted with an agent (Megan) she fixed everything up for me and i am hoping to get my card soon. thank you Megan

Amazing customer service. I can’t be more thankful for such a great company, I needed some screws for my handles, even though I didn’t purchase through the company, I emailed the office and they put sone in the post for free! Had my request submitted and approved within 2 days - I had been waiting for 2-1/2 weeks from Sofi - after submitting 2 years of 1099's and tax forms to Sofi. Marcus came through for me - that is why I am recommending them.

Excellent customer service
The coil/spring of one of our Heritage Brass door handles snapped. M-Marcus's customer services sent out replacement parts immediately, and the handle is back to normal. Very impressive service.
