If you value your time, use Figure. If you value a crisp and clean process built with modern day technology, use Figure. The whole effort to obtain a HELOC for me was under two hours. 15 minutes to answer a series of questions from my phone and one hour in total to upload documents and use my webcam to attest the note agreement with an online notary. How progressive!! When I asked my current HELOC bank to update my unused line of credit they said I have to go through a whole new process from scratch. Two weeks later and a barrage of more questions and evidence they eventually burned through my patience. Long live Figure.com. I pray no bank buys them out. I will eventually cancel my current stodgy bank and have Figure replace them when I get chance.

I went to 10 different banks and got denied because of Debt-to-income ratios. I had over $450k in equity in my house and wanted some of it to cover all of my debts so my high balances could be paid off. No bank would do it and I even had great credit. I found Figure and applied for it as a last shot opportunity and within 10 mins I was approved. Took me a total of 7 days to be funded which included the weekend. I will recommend them to everyone I know that needs a fast Heloc. This loan is saving me over $7000 a month in payments.

I had a personal loan with this company before, so I initially was trying to get another personal loan, but I realized they were only doing HELOC's now. I didn't really want to take out a big loan on my house so I was happy to see that I was able to take out a small loan without using all of my equity. As I said, this is my second loan with this company. They are easy to work with and are fast at funding, and you can do it all online. I would highly recommend this company.

They made the process so easy and quick that I actually thought for a minute this was a scam. Simply link to IRS for income, attach bank statements for money xfer. No in person appraisal neede- done on line. Use eNotary to sign documents. And half as expensive on origination fees as a couple others I looked into. And I had a couple questions throughout the 1 day process and they had live humans answer the phone. It was glorious.

I am so impressed that the process was truly all digital! Other HELOC lenders wanted 20+ documents submitted, and the process could take weeks. The rate and fee options are very competitive and the chat support was always available when I had a question. We are using the loan to add a new roof and solar to our house, and I was happy to learn they will reammortize the loan after making a payment of more than 10% of the balance. This will be perfect when we apply solar tax credit money next year. The e-notery process was easy and the timing of the steps was very reasonable. We got funds in a little over a week ..even with the 3-day cancel period.

This has been on of the easiest transactions I've experienced and I've made many similar trasactions. I provided access to the required financial information through the (Plaid) application and I provided access to my filed tax returns. They had all the information they needed to make an offer. It litterally took hours to complete this transaction. What may be a little disconcerting is this is a new way of doing business with low to no touch, meaning just about everything is digitized and processed automatically as comapred to traditional lending methods. Even the appraisal used was an automated process through one of their vendors. Since I have most of my information digitzed, I didn't have a need to make copies or scans of anything. The lending process was super simple and I'm very happy so far. I'll proivde an update once I have experience with their loan servicing functions.

What a great process at Figure to apply. Fast, and all online. Very purposeful and understandable application questions. Processing speed on the front end was like lightning. My only holdback from giving a five star was incomplete communication on money release date and who the servicer will be once funded. Small nitpicks overall. I would highly recommend Figure to homeowners looking to withdraw some equity at low rates and fees. 👍

Loan approvals may take longer than advertised
This company advertises approvals in 5 minutes and funding in 5 days. This is a best case scenario. For whatever reason, approval for our loan took several days. After funding approval, because of local laws where I live, it required a visit from a local notary to sign the documents which added several more days. The loan was funded within 5 days after the documents were signed and sent back by the notary. All told, the loan process took about 2 weeks. Figure certainly made it easier than other loan processes that I've gone through in the past but be aware that it will probably take longer than their advertising would have you believe. I am happy with my overall experience.

Really fast response and help from the representatives online, however the automated system seems to have some glitches. It incorrectly read my drivers license as expired. Once that was resolved it took me reaching out to get the online notary session set up. There was no email like it said there would be. If I hadn’t been checking the website consistently this would have take a lot longer than it has already. I should have my funds any day now, but still don’t. Overall really thought it would be quicker and more seamless.

I could do everything online. Uploading my documents was safe & secure. When closing my loan, I was Able to use an e-notary... it was a short session by zoom. Everything was explained thoroughly, my questions were answered quickly. When I sent emails, someone from customer service always answered within 24 hours. And above all, Figure treated me with respect. I didn't feel intimidated like I have EVERY OTHER TIME I HAVE DEALT WITH ANY BANK FOR MORTGAGE OR PERSONAL LOANS. I am very far from computer literate. I initially started my HELOC app with my bank. Was told it would take 4-6 weeks for approval and the rate was not too favorable. Next tried my mortgage company and all they wanted to do was offer me a loan. No thanks. Credit union had decent rates but again a many weeks long approval process. Figure was super easy to navigate, spelled out their terms concisely and the whole experience took less than two weeks, only because I was lax in expediting the loan. As said, am hesitant when it comes to online business, especially of this caliber, but I felt accomplished after the transaction was over. Thank you, Figure. You have changed my life for the better for sure!
