Applying was fairly easy, but one complaint so far- was pre-approved for a certain rate/payment. Took the loan, talked to a rep twice to get it approved. Only once it went through I noticed the interest was 3% higher, payment $20 higher than my pre-approval. Seems a little bait and switch that I was not told this before final approval. They should fix this on the future, I’m still saving a little versus my debt I consolidated, but not much. Not sure I would have taken it.

These guys made it easy to get a loan which blew me away on how easy. No phone calls. Answered a handful of questions and bam, I was approved within a week. I just started to build credit at the age of 50 and in this present day credit is more important than the numbers that reflect what you got in a bank account. Without sounding like I was paid to write this review I just wanna say if your looking to build credit, consolidate on some credit cards and or need cash to get yourself afloat from living paycheck to paycheck then this is the financial institute to go to for help. I started browsing on credit Karma the options and decided to give it a try after reading some reviews. Answered some questions on the app and then my phone rang. It was around 8pm at night and it was best egg calling to see if I needed any help. They stayed on the phone with me the whole time while I searched for paperwork that they requested. I had to deal with my ADHD Tax - impulsive spending that led to $17K in credit card debt!! I decided to try out Best Egg. While I wish I could've gotten a better rate (26.99% on about $3,700) the process was painless, my rep was very nice, and I understand why I was given such a rate. So, terms of the loan - LOVE it. Simple interest, so I'm not accumulating interest on top of interest. I can also make payments early or as much as I want without penalties, so I've already knocked out a good chunk of it. Website - love the website. Easy to navigate, find where your documents and payment options are, and man do I love the visual graph of how much I've paid in interest versus principal balance. Chat Support - again, very easy to deal with and responsive. Overall if I have to choose another personal loan for any reason I'll br going with Best Egg again. I should also say that they base their decision on your last paystub OR if you're a freelancer like me, your last tax return. So I appreciate that they actually VERIFIED what they were giving me was doable! Unlike the scam company Santander Consumer USA. Go with Best Egg!
