I was looking to get a personal loan and was not going to pay an 11 or 12% finance rate. I have an 820 credit score and our total debt is at $2k which includes our home. This was the BEST decision I could have made. The process was user friendly and simple to complete. I received a decision within minutes. I appreciate the options to choose my repayment schedule they were all outlined clearly and straight forward. The added incentive of choosing auto pay for the installments was a plus for me. This was a quick process in finding out i was approved, i've always paid my bills on time or ahead of the due dates. I plan on paying this loan off in 2026 due to having my house for sale. Only thing i would hope you can change or make people more comfy is letting them know how long it will take to receive the funds loaned. The message i received said "your funds are on the way" I was thinking the same day but it did take a little over 24 hours. Which was NO problem, just wish a message would have told me that and i'm sure others would like to know. Thank you SO much for making this process easy.

The overall experience was good but right after I chose a loan, I started getting phone calls and text messages from other lenders (that were listed, but I did not choose) offering loans at better rates and much better monthly payments, which were not listed on the choices. I don't know if the better terms are truly valid or not, but it's a little annoying. Now, I am constantly wondering if I got the best loan I could have.

The engine of my car blew recently, and I wanted to get a loan to buy my next car outright rather than carry a car loan and be forced to over pay for car insurance. Credible made it seem like I would be applying for a loan through them. What really happened is that they handed out my information to every two bit loan company on the planet. I got unwanted emails, phone calls, and text messages for days from companies that I neither wanted not asked for loans from. Credible obviously makes their money by selling your information to EVERYONE. Just avoid them and apply to places individually. UPDATE: Credible has done everything they can to help reassure me, and provide more complete information about their prices. I've increased my rating by one star for the level of customer service. Unfortunately my experience was still pretty bad as a result of using their site. So I can't really go higher than this. But I do appreciate their effort.

Credible did an amazing job! They prescreened me for offers from multiple lenders, ones which I wouldn't have been able to find otherwise. In the end, I transferred a credit card balance at a 5-6% lower interest rate than I could find on my own. The lender they found was top notch, and this was the best outcome I could have hoped for!
